Andasibe
Andasibe-Mantadia National Park - Early in the morning, the visit to Andasibe Mantadia National Park begins. The primary forest consists of two distinct protected areas – the Analamazoatra Special Reserve and the Mantadia National Park. The park is predominantly primary forest, untouched by human activity, and serves as a sanctuary for numerous animals and plants. Visitors can expect to encounter a variety of species, including lemurs, birds, chameleons, and insects. The day will be spent enjoying the primary forest and its wildlife, with opportunities for trekking through the beautiful landscape and visiting the natural swimming pool.
Andasibe - Tana
Analamazaotra Special Reserve - After breakfast, a guided visit to Analamazaotra National Park begins (it is advisable to leave the hotel at 7:30 AM). An early start is necessary to observe the Indri-Indri and the Diademed Sifaka in their natural habitat. The visit lasts about 4 hours. Within a mile of the park, the unique call of the Indri can be heard from early morning until noon and again in the late afternoon. Indris, known as Babakoto in Malagasy, are the largest living lemurs, reaching up to 1 meter. Andasibe is the ideal location to observe the Indris, as several families are accustomed to humans. They live in small groups and cannot survive in captivity. In addition to the Indri, 13 other lemur species inhabit these forests, including the woody lemur, grey bamboo lemur, diademed sifaka, brown lemur, red mouse-lemur, red-bellied lemur, black and white ruffed lemur, and even aye-aye. After lunch, guests will transfer directly to Tana and proceed to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Kirindy - Morondava
Kirindy Forest Morondava Madagascar - Following a guided day walk in Kirindy Forest, guests will transfer directly to Morondava, with two main stops at Baobab Lamoureux and the Avenue of the Baobabs to enjoy the sunset. Morondava - Antsirabe
Antsirabe - Today involves a long drive, so it is recommended to leave as early as possible (at 7:00 AM). After breakfast, guests will transfer directly to Antsirabe, with some stops along the road for photos and breaks if necessary. Lunch will be in Miandrivazo. Trekking through the forest will follow a trail passing a beautiful waterfall, with opportunities to encounter rare species along the way. Guests will return to the hotel for lunch. After a long and tiring morning, there will be time to visit the spa, take a nap, and rest for the remainder of the day. At around 5:30 PM, a guided night walk will begin.

Madagascar is renowned for its unique animal species. Though many believe that two days wouldn’t suffice to witness the abundant wildlife, it’s a misconception. This tour is tailor-made to discover various creatures in the vicinity of Antananarivo. Animals freely roam in their natural habitat, with the exception of the Perieyras reserve, where reptiles are well-maintained in enclosures. One can certainly listen to the resonating calls of Madagascar’s largest lemurs - the Indri-Indri or Babakoto, and the ring-tailed lemurs at the lemur park. This itinerary is perfectly suited for a weekend or a spare two-day gap during your stay in Madagascar.
