The thermal water of Pamukkale has offered beauty and health to people since ancient times. However, the goal of this trip is the miracle of nature that is Pamukkale, which translates as Cotton Castle in Turkish. The reasons for the visit of Queen Cleopatra to Hierapolis were its limestone terraces, thermal water, beauty and health. We will drive over Antalya through the Taurus Mountains passing the Salda Lake to Pamukkale. We will arrive at Pamukkale at noon and have sufficient time for the limestone terraces, the ancient city Hierapolis with it s enormous necropolis and graves. In the afternoon we travel back towards Antalya. On the way, there will be a stop in Tavas to see a carpet loom and learn the Turkish art of looming. A day trip combining nature and culture. \n- Cleopatra Pools - Situated above the Pamukkale white travertine pools is one particularly spectacular location fed by the same hot springs. Here you can bath in the same waters in which Cleopatra once swam! A professionally run modern spa facility allows you to enjoy these historical healing waters.\n- Pamukkale - After our visit to Pamukkale and the Antique pool, we will move to our restaurant for lunch, our lunch break is approximately 1 hour. Lunch Break, open buffet\n- Pamukkale - Driving from Pamukkale to Antalya Area.\nAt the end of our tour program, after a short shopping break, our journey to Antalya will begin. We will arrive in Antalya after 4 hours in total.

Following a hotel pick-up, enjoy a scenic ride through the gorgeous lakes and mountains of southern Turkey and make a halt at an onyx factory to watch the local artisans at work. Upon reaching Pamukkale, marvel at the brilliant white terraces, heavily laden with dissolved calcium bicarbonate sourced from the nearby Cal Dagi Mountains.
Wander in the archaeological premise of Hierapolis, situated westward of the hamlet, and stop by the Apollo Temple and a rehabilitated Roman theater from the 2nd century that boasts an enormous number of preserved, intricate reliefs. Explore the colonnades of the primeval main street, and catch sight of the exceptional sarcophagus of Flavius Zeuxis, a facet of the most extensive burial ground in Asia Minor.
