Wonderful One-Day Tour to Göbeklitepe - We had such a great one-day tour to Göbeklitepe! Our guide, Ibrahim, was super friendly, attentive, and really knew his stuff. Everything was well-organized. We had plenty of time to enjoy each place without feeling rushed, and we got to see exactly what we were hoping for. We also tried delicious Şanliurfa kebab for lunch. Highly recommend this tour!

1 day tour of Gobekli Tepe and area - After much searching for a short trip to Gobekli Tepe I was so happy to find this 1 day tour of the site along with other nearby attractions like the museum, mosaics, Abraham’s fish pool, necropolis, and the bazaar! There was plenty of time to make all of this relaxed and at my own pace. My guide, Selim took me to a lunch spot after Gobekli Tepe and ensured that as a vegetarian I was well fed! He did a great job of explaining the sites, and having grown up in the area had plenty of stories of his own adventures so it added to the whole experience! He even showed me a video he took when they discovered a new statue at Gobekli Tepe, and the local news station used that video in their broadcast! On the way to the airport I had brought up the desserts here and he asked me if I wanted to make a pit stop to a Baklava shop! I was able to pick up some fresh Baklava to take home - I’ll try my best not to dig into it before I get there. He even told me how to reheat it after it’s been in the fridge to help make it taste as fresh as it is now when I serve it back home. I highly recommend booking a trip with Selim if you’re short on time like I was and wanted to see Gobekli Tepe, however, he also does longer tours, so you can explore more of this incredible area!

A tour to remember with an unforgettable guide!! - We had the most wonderful experience with our guide Selim Bakir. He took us around, told us delightful stories about the places we visited and knew exactly what to focus on at Gobekle tepe and the other sites. The choice for lunch was just what we needed and gave us a chance to taste authentic Turkish cuisine. Selim made the trip even more memorable through his genuine care of us the whole day.

Selim! Selim! Selim! Our group chat frequently done throughout the trip with enthusiasm! - Selim is your man/mom/servant leader/ interpreter/historian/ and welcoming local host. Constantly on top of your needs 24/7. For example: he was always counting heads and making sure there was no lost explorers. Another example is his wonderful guidance thru airport ticking, TSA, gate location and interpreter with flight agents. I fly often, but Istanbul International is gigantic and 2 TSAs processes. He hand guides and takes excellent care of you and your luggage. He also helps you negotiate for the best price in large stores and small merchant stands with out making it uncomfortable. One night he even cooked a special meal for our whole group! If I was a guide I would hope to be as wise and professional as Selim.

Tour of a lifetime, Selim is an excellent guide - Saleem was the most wonderful guide. he created a custom all day itinerary for me to see both Gobekli Tepe and Karahan Tepe, which was a dream come true. his English is excellent and he's very knowledgeable with interesting tidbits you don't read about. He's also a foodie! We enjoyed tea, A special lunch, and a spectacular early dinner together. I highly recommend booking Selim directly on his site, he responds very quickly. and I highly recommend visiting Urfa and booking Selim to show you not only the sites but the delicious foods!

Brilliant Solo Tour - I have been planning this for a while and finally the day arrived. My guide was first class and very knowledgeable. His English was good and if he wasn't sure he did a Google translate. The history kept coming in a simple and concise way. Never had the feeling it was too rehearsed. Lunch was special. Afternoon hotel tour carried on way longer than it should have. I really appreciate it when the guide goes the extra distance.

Ask for SELİM BAKIR as your tour guide - Selim was our tour guide for our small (3 person) visit to Gobekli tepe. What a great guide! He is extremely knowledgeable on any aspect to this extremely important site and shares insights that you won't read in most of the available literature or receive in a large group tour. Perhaps a small point, but he has the photographers eye, and can make sure that your memories will be captured in the best light. Our tour included a fine lunch, a lengthy visit to the excellent museum and mosaic exhibits in Sanliurfa as well as Fish Lake. If time permits, visit Fish lake in the morning when the crowds are less. Its a tranquil parklike setting. The following day, we ran into him at the bazaar and shared numerous cups of tea with him and family members. A truly memorable tour with a great guide. Perhaps Mount Nemrut, Karahan tepe or some yet to be explored site sometime in the future?

Once in a lifetime experience with a knowledgable guide - Selim guided us through Gobecklitepe - this was a truly magical experience. I went with my family including my dad, who is interested in ancient history. He walked away thrilled with the experience and I learned a lot about a moment in time I knew virtually nothing about. Selim is a great storyteller and knowledgable guide. Outside of the visit to gobecklitepe, we ate an amazing lunch visited 2 thoughtfully organized museums and visited fish lake. If you have a dad (like mine) that’s interested in ancient history and want a once in a lifetime experience, this is it!

Nice place and anti mainstream - Good and nice , not too special but okay maybe becaused of less story about the object its self, we more enjoyed the Abraham story and have alook of local bazar.
