Begin with tea and snacks, then proceed through each step: preparing the syrup, kneading and rolling the dough, creating the walnut filling, and layering everything perfectly before baking.
While the baklava is in the oven, participants will also prepare a savory börek and a fresh meze such as kısır or lentil balls. Finally, enjoy everything made together over Turkish coffee and engaging conversation.
Arrive as a guest, leave as a friend!
This is a hands-on experience, with all ingredients provided. Recipes will be sent afterward so the magic can be recreated at home.
Please note:
- The baklava contains walnuts and is not suitable for those with nut allergies.
- The class lasts approximately 4 hours — because making baklava properly takes time, and good things should not be rushed.
