Fresh, clean cooking experience!! - The cooking class was so amazing!! Honestly a really great experience, I would highly recommend this to anyone coming to travel Sri Lanka. The kitchen was clean and food very fresh, Loved it!

Must-do Sri Lanka Cooking Class - My partner and I were incredibly lucky to do a private cooking class with Piumi (and the world's most adorable sous chef, Paffu). We made 9 curries, coconut sambal, and coconut roti. Piumi answered our endless stream of questions with patience and knowledge, and we had a lot of fun. The food was exceptional, especially the eggplant curry and the pineapple curry. Armed with new skills and all the recipes, were so excited to make these dishes when we get home. Thank you so much for having us and welcoming us with such hospitality - it's a memory we will cherish for years to come.

Wonderful experience - What an amazing experience! I learned so much and all the food was incredibly delicious. I felt very safe and welcomed as a solo traveler and had wonderful conversation the entire time I was there. The hosts were so understanding and accommodating about my preferences, and I really learned a lot about Sri Lankan culture and cuisine.

Fantastic Cooking Class in Colombo - We thoroughly enjoyed our cooking class - the food was delicious (particularly the eggplant and pineapple dishes), and the company was fantastic…including the family dog! I would recommend this as one of our favourite travel cooking classes we have done - and we have done many. We are looking forward to preparing the dishes again when we are back home.

It is essential if you come to Sri Lanka! Fun and delicious cooking class! - If you are new to Sri Lanka, this is an activity you should definitely experience. The Susas are very friendly and hospitable. Cook in the new open kitchen with an open atmosphere. You don't need anything to bring (they've prepared it for you), so you can enjoy it on your way home from shopping. You choose 7 curry dishes from 10 to 13 different types. It's also fun to prepare. Time passes quickly because it is so smooth. You can also make traditional cooking methods and Sri Lankan specialty roti. More curry than two people can eat. The tuk-tuk on the way back is a little harder to catch, so you might want to book with Uber. It is a great experience to enjoy Sri Lankan curry culture and eat curry deliciously, so I would recommend it to everyone!

Cooking class with heart - We had a great experience. Everything was super organized. We were picked up from the hotel on time, then went shopping together at a market and discussed the menu. Afterwards, we cooked 12 different dishes together in the beautiful and very clean open kitchen and then enjoyed them. It was a very nice, personal and particularly welcoming atmosphere and we felt very comfortable. Everything was very well explained and comprehensible. Anytime very happy again. Thank you for the interesting insights into the very diverse cuisine of Sri Lanka.

A must! - The cooking class in Colombo was unforgettable! Perfect for my last day in Sri Lanka. The food was excellent, everything was very clean, and the newly built location is beautifully designed. The atmosphere was warm and familiar, so I felt very comfortable from the start. The instructor was super sympathetic, competent and explained every step understandably, so you could try everything yourself. Overall an unforgettable experience, definitely a must. Thank you very much!

Highly recommend! - My partner and I had a great experience with Piumi learning how to make some local Sri Lankan cuisine including how to prepare it with traditional methods and equipment. We made 10 different curries tailored to our spice level and the vegetables we preferred to cook with. She also showed us how to make coconut cream, sambal, rice and a coconut roti. The location was easy to find and she was a great communicator. Last but certainly not least it the food was absolutely delicious 😋. As a nice touch she sends you the recipes so you can take a bit of Sri Lanka home with you. This was one of the best things we did on our trip and I would highly recommend it!

Fully recommend this wonderful cooking class - We struck gold with this cooking class! It was exactly what we hoped for: full hands-on experience of cooking fabulous Sri Lankan dishes, then eating them! Piumi was great, explaining all the spices and showing us how to prepare, and then cook, and although we do cook daily, including curries, we had the chance to try new ingredients and new dishes such as bitter gourd. The format is also great: Piumi let's you choose from a basket of veg, and then you set about making loads of dishes, plus rice, and roti. I highly recommend this class. Piumi and Susa are so welcoming, and their new kitchen is very neat, clean, tidy.
