Following this, explore Angkor Thom, a fortified city spanning 10 square kilometers. Enter through the impressive South Gate, flanked by statues of demons and gods holding a giant Naga, to visit Bayon Temple. Continue to the Terrace of the Elephants, and then proceed to Ta Phrom, which has been intentionally left in its natural state by French archaeologists to showcase the incredible power of nature. In the afternoon, visit the World Heritage Site of Angkor Wat, the largest and most magnificent of all the temples, and recognized as the 7th wonder of the world. Conclude the tour with a return to the hotel.

Siem Reap – Banteay Srei – Banteay Samre at 8:00 am

Banteay Srei - Begin the tour with an 8 am pickup to visit Banteay Srei, celebrated as a masterpiece of classical Khmer art and a favorite among visitors. In the afternoon, explore Banteay Samre and Pre Rup, a temple at Angkor, Cambodia, constructed as the state temple of Khmer king Rajendravarman and dedicated in 961. This temple mountain, made of brick, laterite, and sandstone, symbolizes Mount Meru and is similar in style to East Mebon but is higher and more artistically refined. Continue to East Mebon, Ta Som, Neak Pean, and Preah Khan. Return to the hotel after the tour.

Siem Reap – Kampong Phluk Village, Tonle Sap Lake and Old Market

Kompong Phluk - Start with an 8:30 am pickup to visit the fishing village of Kompong Phluk on Tonle Sap Lake. During the dry season (February to August), the village is accessible by car or motorbike, but from September, a boat ride is required to reach Kompong Phluk. Explore the village with its stilted houses, pagoda, and observe the villagers’ activities before taking a traditional boat ride on the expansive Tonle Sap Lake. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant at your own expense. In the afternoon, visit the Artisan School and enjoy free time for shopping at the Old Market before returning to the hotel.
