Both tours I took were fun overall, but the second one almost meant we didn't get back until over 2 hours later than advertised until we had to demand to be taken back to town to not miss another reservation. They combine a bunch of different tours and throw them in the same van, so it's kind of a roll of the dice what you get. Don't expect them to bring you the places advertised either unless you state clearly where you want to go at the beginning. The advertised itineraries seem to be just suggestions to them.
Very nice. The Conservation Center allowed you to feel and experience Alaska.Just nice.
We have been visiting beautiful animals there first got started. We always enjoy it
We had an excellent driver/guide (Bill), and we saw so much more than just the AWCC -- although that would have been great by itself! Thanks! More time at the AWCC would have been great, but I'm really glad we got the to art gallery before it closed.
Animals very close up and active. Clean facilities and loved the gift shop.

The driver shared many stories with us, he was very knowledgeable about the area. We made just the right amount of stops! The homemade pies at the Portage Lake gift shop were amazing! The bus was a very clean and reliable vehicle.
Weather was beautiful, Portage Glacier was amazing, Laura was very informative and accommodating. Fun to see so many animals that were being rehabilitated. Would have liked to have 30 minutes at the Alyska Resort. Also would have liked to see a Beluga whale. Art gallery was amazing - could have used a little more time there. Would have liked to see the artist in action with the chain saw.
Loved the way the tour was conducted..our guide-cum-driver TIM was simply outstanding. Super guy and very very well informed and well read !!!
Tina was wonderful and the sites were amazing; actually got to spend way more time than usual at the AWCC. A bad accident closed the highway for a 2 hour backup. Tina turned us around and took us to Girdwood to kill some time and get some food. Very long day for everyone, but Tina was great and made the best of a bad situation. My family gives her 4 thumbs up!!!
Great communication and updates. Great driver.
We enjoyed our AWCC tour provided by Turnagain Tours. Tina our driver was really helpful and informative.
I really enjoyed the bears!

The most exciting part of the tour was the Conservation Center and the stops in the Turnagain arm. In my opinion, the stops in the shops were too commercial and unnecessary...maybe the gallery and chocolate factory are OK but to use restrooms I bet there are another options.
The BEST TOUR EVER! Ben is so awesome, we had such a nice time.
Great way to speak a local to learn customs and culture. The tutor guide is great way to learn about the city one on one. I highly recommend them if you are traveling to Anchorage area by plane or cruise ship.
The whole experience was fantastic. The driver was friendly and fun. He gave us some fun facts along the way. His driving was outstanding with the windy conditions. Overall a Great experience.
Ben was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Lots to see and hear about good lunch
This tour was so much fun. We got to stop at some of the most beautiful sights along the Seward highway and the tour guide gave us plenty of time to explore and told us facts about the area. The Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center was so much better then a zoo. We got to see Alaska’s native wildlife in a place where they are about helping the animals instead of trapping them.
The tour included stops around town which I was not expecting. It was so helpful and allowed me to see more of the town as well as pick up gifts for my family. The tour guide was knowledgeable about where to find wildlife for us to photograph as well as other educational material and information.
Ben was great and very accommodating. He was very knowledgeable and entertaining. He kept us on schedule and thanks to that we got to see so much of Anchorage that we wouldn’t have had the chance to see otherwise. He made lots of neat stops including a natural water spring and even gave us cups to drink from the water, nostalgic, as Ben called it. We stoped for some great pictures of wild life in its natural habitat, and lastly, the AWCC was a great experience! All around a fantastic full day doing city, Turnagain Arn, and wildlife center. Highly recommend. Thanks again Ben
Tour guide was very professional and knowledgeable
Just completed the AWCC and Turnagain Arm Tour. Our guide Ben was very friendly, professional and informative and obviously has a real passion for ensuring his "guests' receive the ultimate experience of Alaska. I loved being able to see and search for wildlife. Thank you for an awesome tour.
Ben was very knowledgeable and took extra time to make sure that we saw as much of Anchorage (and surrounding areas) as possible on this tour. I got way more than my money’s worth!
Please go on this tour. It is magnificent through and through, and the tour guide was, too!

all the beautiful place to take Photo and all the shops to shop!!!
I really had a very good time, Thxnk you all!
Ben rocked! He made a lot of stops so that we could shop some local stores, taste some fresh mountain water, and see some breathtaking sites! That was all before and after the AWCC tour!!! We got so much more than expected. We would never have seen so much on our own!
Our tour guide was amazing. He could answer every question we had, very knowledgable! He was good with the kids. He didn't mind stopping for all the pictures we wanted to take. He could find the wild life from a moose walking around in a neighborhood, to an eagle by a nest high in the trees. He made everything so interesting! He made sure we got to see all of Alaska's beauty. I will carry this experience with me forever. It was priceless.
Tour guide Ben is very nice and the trip is perfect! Very amazing animals and fantastic scenery in Anchorage. Highly recommend this to everyone! Impressive.
Our tour guide, Ben, made this experience the best. He went above and beyond to make it special. Worth every penny.
Ben was the best!!! He was helpful, fun, and determined to make our day trip unforgettable!
Given we were between seasons, ie it was cold but snow, Ben provided us with a great day out.
Ben’s knowledge about Alaskan history and his love for his heritage made the tour both educational and enjoyable. He went above and beyond to make it a special experience for everyone on the tour. I would strongly recommend this to anyone visiting Anchorage.
This was our first time in Alaska. We wanted to do something that we would be able to enjoy with our parents that wasn't too strenuous. Unbeknownst to us we traveled the same route a couple of days before. This did not at all change the amazing experience we had. Ben our tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. We started out with shopping. We sampled salmon and halibut and wild berry jams and chocolates. We were able to get some souvenirs for home. Then we traveled Turnagain arm which was breathtaking. We stopped at multiple stops along the way such as Beluga point, sampling freshwater coming from the mountain, seeing mountain goats on the mountainside, Mountains with glaciers, salmon in the creek, and so much more. We also stopped at the Wildlife conservation. We got to see them feed the bears. The animals were all rescues and you got to see them more up close. We would not have been able to see and do all that we did without going on this tour. We got to take some great pictures. The tour enhanced our experience in Alaska and we recommend it to those who want to see the best of Alaska.
