An authentic and unforgettable immersion in the Dominican Republic – not to be missed! - We had an exceptional day thanks to CONCEPT TOUR and their excursion “La Vie Dominican VIP”, a small committee experience that allowed us to discover the Dominican Republic in a different way: authentic, humane and rewarding. Accompanied by Jeremy, our passionate Francophone guide, and a driver, we left with five of us – my parents and I, as well as another couple – for a perfectly organized day, without haste, with carefully thought out stops. We started with a typical tasting by the roadside, like the locals, before going to meet two Dominican families. The first, in more urban areas, allowed us to discuss their daily lives. Then, head to the countryside, for a highlight of the day: a delicious homemade meal, shared with a local family in a simple, welcoming and sincere setting. A real moment of conviviality and exchange. After this meal, we discovered cocoa and coffee plantations, with exciting explanations about growing, harvesting and processing methods. We also had the opportunity to taste these products on site, in a peaceful and green environment, close to nature. Throughout the day, we also made other typical stops, such as a visit to a local church, and a visit to a popular, very authentic market that offers a raw and lively glimpse of Dominican daily life – a real place, sometimes a little confusing, but also an integral part of the experience. Finally, to end this beautiful day, we visited a traditional cigar factory, a real institution in the Dominican Republic. The opportunity to learn more about this traditional know-how... and even roll our own cigar! Jeremy contributed greatly to making this excursion an unforgettable experience. Great guide!! - 2 great excursions have my wife and son (Dominican Life ViP and Quad)!! The first excursion really makes you discover the country in another way. the real Dominican life - If you are looking for small group excursions and discover real Dominican life away from super touristic places.... Do not hesitate and trust Jeremie. For the first time in the Dominican Republic we took the island of saona, Dominican life and quad biking with concept tours. We have only good memories, Jeremie and are equipped are top, responsive and available. Jeremie introduced us to real Dominican life and introduced us to beautiful and typical places with locals who produce coffee, coconut oil and cigars as well as delicious meals. It’s like you’re with a friend. We also did the horse ride, the ranch team very welcoming. The marinarium (with ray and shark) and monky land nice excursions but much more touristic than the rest.
