Adventure - A great adventure and a wonderful tour guide. It's 5 ziplines. If you start you must finish all of them. Bring changing clothes for the ATV.

An amazing day! - It was a long day but so much fun! A nice big air-conditioned bus picked us up 10 minutes earlier than stated time of 750. About 15 minutes before arrival the bus broke down but another came 25 minutes later. Arrived to park at 10:15. Main/home base of park consists of five buildings that you return to between each activity (check in/out, bathrooms, cafeteria, lockers) and an outdoor drink/bar station. We got two lockers, enough for all of our stuff. We brought a change of clothes, towels, shoes, water, snacks, sunglasses, sunscreen, bug spray, money.
Each group does activities in a different order depending on availability. We did the Safari first: Road military like vehicle to mini staged farm, fed goats, washed hands, learned about coffee and Cocao, sampled, coffee, cocao, & mamajuana (all available for purchase). Then buffet lunch, very good! Can purchase drinks for reasonable price. Then the chair lift up the mountain & rode 5 zip lines down, amazing! Then the buggies! Very muddy! Best to wear a swimsuit, ski goggles or sunglasses & mouth cover (cute DR bandanas $7 each). Then the relaxing 25 min horseback ride.
Photographers did a great job! We bought our photo package (price based on number of people) 4 = $70, about 50 pics, get email with code, have 30 days to download.
For improvements could make better communication between activities, team leader would disappear so we were standing around wondering what to do next sometimes up to 45 minute wait. Also, drink station closed at 5:30 so unable to buy drinks for the ride back. Left park at 6:30, arrived back at hotel at 8 PM. Overall, a very fun day and well worth it!

Fun beginner/family excursion - What a great beginners experience. Recommend wearing swim suit or gym clothes cause you’re gonna get wet and dirty. This park is very beautiful and team members very helpful. My only complaint is large groups means a lot of time we are waiting for everyone to finish. The buggies not atvs is muddy fun. They stop on certain points for you to switch drivers. The horseback riding was very slow but scenic. Safari ride was a little boring but feeding the baby goats was cute. Coffee/ hot chocolate tasting was quick. Lunch was fine. 5 zip lines which only requires a ride up on the skyline and no other hikes to each zip line. Free lockers and water stations so bring a bottle to refill. Wear shorts with zip pockets to bring your phone to take pics or else they want you to put in locker since they have own photographer. Picked us up at 8am and got to park at 9am and got back to the resort 5pm

An adventure get ready for it - Being out here for the bday I’m trying to make the best of it. The hotel we’re staying at majestic colonial recommended this excursion.
All excited we pack up ready to go. This place was a great time. Or tour guide micki was a good guy. Took his time spoke both Spanish and English which was helpful. Bus ride was about an hour you pull up to the place. You are given a wrist band and off you go our first journey was on the buggies, aww man you will get dirty. You stop at a river where you can clean off and swim. They also have refreshments. After that a trek back to the property where you get splashed driving through the trail and puddles. Next was zip lining an amazing experience. Next was the safari trek and small farm and drink tasting. You then eat lunch which was pretty good. We ended with horse back riding. All together real good time.

Good for the price…with some issues - We booked La Hacienda during our honeymoon in the Dominican Republic because it promised a full day of adventure at a great price and in that sense, it delivered. You get to do a bit of everything: dune buggies, horseback riding, a mini safari, local tastings, and an awesome zipline course. It’s definitely not a luxury experience, but it was a fun, busy day overall.
Pros:
The ziplining was easily the best part, it felt safe, smooth, and just really fun. Horseback riding had beautiful views (though pretty short), and we enjoyed trying the fresh coffee, chocolate, and mamajuana. The mini safari was quick but cute, feeding baby goats was a highlight.
Cons:
The logistics were rough. Getting there took forever (a van, then a long bus ride), and once at the park, it felt a bit chaotic. Staff shouted instructions based on wristbands, but it wasn’t always clear where to go—we mostly figured it out by following other people.
Dune buggies: Fun but slow, and super muddy. You’ll get filthy, so bring extra clothes and something to cover your face.
Food: Lunch was disappointing and, unfortunately, made both of us sick. Definitely be cautious.
Photos: We paid $55 for the photo package, but the quality wasn’t great. They tell you not to bring your phone “for safety,” but plenty of people did with no problem—wish we had too.
Getting Back: The return trip was miserable. A mix-up with the transfer meant we got dropped off last, with a random 40-minute stop at a souvenir shop. Whole trip back took over two hours.
Tips:
* Bring a full change of clothes and a towel
* Wear a mask or bandana for the buggies
* Waterproof phone case and bug spray are smart to have
* Don’t rely on clear instructions—ask when in doubt
* Maybe snap a few phone pics, even if they say not to
* Be cautious with the lunch
Bottom Line:
It’s a solid day if you want to try a bunch of activities in one go and don’t mind things being a bit disorganized. We had fun and made memories, but it’s definitely more action-packed than relaxing—probably not the best pick for a romantic honeymoon vibe

Could've been great if it wasn't extortion-fest. - The trip could be great if it wasn't all about extortion. You have to share buggy or pay $40 extra to drive by yourself, which i did. Buying anything is expensive. Now I can afford it but I don't like it because its clearly extortion. You can't use your phone, but they'll charge you another $45 for the pictures of you that they take. Its not like a USB. They just email you the pictures. Overall, I tried to make the best of the situation
