• Anzac Cove, the beach where most Allied soldiers landed, serving as the main base for Allied troops throughout the campaign.
• Anzac Commemorative Site, where Anzac Day is observed annually on April 25 to honor the fallen.
• The Sphinx, named after the Sphinx in Egypt.
• Hell Spit Cemetery at the southern end of the cove, the final resting place of John Simpson Kirkpatrick, the stretcher bearer known as the Man with the Donkey. -
Gallipoli National Park -
• Plugge’s Plateau, atop a steep 100-meter hill overlooking ANZAC Cove and Shrapnel Valley, captured on April 25, 1915, by the 11th Battalion, 3rd Brigade of the AIF.
• Shrapnel Gully, a winding valley leading from the coast to the New Zealand and Australian front lines, a route many took to reach the front.
• Lone Pine, site of the Australian memorial and intense fighting on April 25 and throughout the campaign, especially in August.
• Johnston’s Jolly, a plateau north of Lone Pine, featuring a network of original tunnels and trenches.
• The Nek, site of the renowned charge by the Australian Light Horse, depicted in the movie Gallipoli.
• Chunuk Bair, location of the New Zealand Memorial, built on the hill captured by New Zealanders during the August offensive, and the highest point taken during the campaign. - Dardanelles Strait - Return to Canakkale via ferry, carrying unforgettable memories, and be dropped off at the hotel or cruise port.
