Connecting with these majestic animals in their natural habitat is exhilarating! Although our focus is whale watching, we will also encounter many other species of marine mammals and birds along the way. The incredible diversity of local wildlife means no two trips are alike, so it’s worth coming out more than once!
NOTE: The minimum age to participate is 6 years old. Children five and under are not permitted. Also, this tour is not appropriate during pregnancy or for people with back or neck injuries. Thank you for understanding!
Check-in at our office is 30 minutes prior to your departure time. Please arrive promptly so we can get you fitted in a cruiser suit and ready for the tour!

Well worth it! - We had a great time! Saw several Orcas, including a calf. Lots of different birds, a sea lion, and a seal. Our pilot even knew a hang-out for a Gray Whale so spent several minutes watching him/her. We are in our 70's and had four granddaughters with us ranging in age from 18-28, so truly a great family experience for all ages!

Blue Kingdom whale tour - We had an amazing tour! The zodiac boat is the way to go! Our guide was so knowledgeable and so nice. The boat sits nice and low with great visibility for everyone on board. They supplied each of us with wind/waterproof bib overalls, jacket, gloves,hat, googles and binoculars! We saw a gray whale and a pod of orcas, plus sea lions, seals, many types of seabirds. If you want to go on a whale tour choose the Blue Kingdom zodiac boat tour!!! You will have a great time!!

Amazing experience! - The crew was very knowledgeable. They knew wear to go to look for the whales. Tiffany told us many facts about whales and the other wild life we saw. The boat was fast. We were able to travel where the whales were and we had time to just watch them. It was really neat! When we returned to the station Tiffany had a seal whisker we could feel and something that whales eat brine shrimp with that we could see and touch.
The gear they give you to use is great! I stayed warm even though the weather was cold and rainy. I loved the experience, It was amazing! I would highly recommend!!!

Wonderful Full Day Tour - Tyler gave us a wonderful full day tour. He shared a nice amount of wildlife info with us, answered our questions and navigated us expertly. He took us far and wide and we saw many seals, a few sea porpoises, some humpbacks and dozens of orcas. Weather was amazing so that was icing on the cake!

Amazing whale watching! Saw so much and Tyler went out of his way to make our experience the best ever!!! - It was an incredible day!! Tyler is so knowledgeable and even went a hour over the tour because we saw so many whales!

BUCKET LIST TRIP - This trip was on my bucket list and did not disappoint! My first sighting of a grey whale made me want to cry, it was so beautiful. The staff was phenomenal and very informative.

If you want the best experience, Blue Kingdom is the only choice! - We had such a great experience on our Wildlife viewing trip with Blue Kingdom. Clint and Amanda took great care of us, and set the tone for a great day. We lucked out with gorgeous weather but we were still very grateful for the provided cruiser suits! At first we were skeptical on such a warm day if we'd need so many thick layers. The team was graciously persistent about needing them, and of course they were right! It was much chillier on the water and especially at speed to get to the best viewing spots but we were comfortable the entire time. We saw orcas, a gray whale, a harbor porpoise, sea lions, seals, and dozens of birds. Amanda was very knowledgeable and gave us so much great insight in to what we were seeing and the complex dynamics of the Salish Sea ecosystem. We will ABSOLUTELY be cruising with them in the future!

Highly recommended. - The boat is perfect, you are right at the water's edge, the experience is immersive, but you are very well protected from the cold and the wind thanks to the provided equipment, and there are restrooms, which is incredible on a rigid inflatable boat! The captain pays close attention to avoid bumps every time we pass another boat, he also ensures that all passengers can observe in the best conditions, and the naturalist knows all the orcas in the area by their little names, it's impressive, she tells us their stories in detail while we observe them, and she also teaches us many things about sea lions, seals, etc...

Memory-Making Experience - We went on the morning Zodiac boat tour and couldn't have wished for a better day! The weather was perfect for a morning of searching for Whales with Clinton and Amanda, and find whales we did. It didn't take us long before Clinton actually 'sniffed' out a Gray Whale - I have never seen one before, and was hoping to find one, so this is something I will never forget. We then spent a long period of time watching a family of Orca, playing and hunting - once again a spectacular experience! Amanda and Clinton were fantastic the entire time, very knowledgeable and clearly very passionate about what they do. They respect the whales and always keep at a distance that doesn't invade their space. Forget the big ferry tours - Blue Kingdom Zodiac adventure is the way forward, we would highly recommend this memory making tour. Thanks for a wonderful day, Sam and Matt :-)

Unforgettable Experience - Absolutely incredible orca tour out of Anacortes! We saw everything orca whales, gray whales, humpbacks, plus adorable otters and seals. The crew was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole experience unforgettable. If you’re even thinking about going, do it you won’t regret it! It was the true highlight of our trip out to Seattle.
