It is possible to climb up to the platform to have the best view over the river, the countryside and Zaanse Schans.
- Catharina Hoeve Cheese Farm - Visit this cheese farm where you’ll receive a presentation about cheese making. After this, you will have the time to taste a large variety of cheeses in the cheese shop

Terrific tour! - This tour was a great way to see the Dutch countryside--and only 25 minutes out of Amsterdam. Our guide was Carolina, and she did a great job. The meeting point is actually a coffee shop (not the train station). The bus was comfortable and not crowded. We got to see a clog-making workshop, windmills, a cheese-making presentation, and a chocolate shop. This was a highly enjoyable experience.

Complete tour - We had a wonderful time during the tour, our guide ( Kay?) was super nice and told us plenty about the town/village being one of the only 2 people born there.
The only suggestion I would make is to have a little more free time in the village to explore a little more the shops and the place itself.

Windmills, cheese, and clogs - Fun and educational. Our guide, Toos, was enthusiastic and informative. The bus driver also provided historical information on the way to Zaanse. Going inside a windmill was facinating.

Caroline was wonderful! - caroline was excellent!!! I learned so much! and enjoyed myself completely ! we learned about history and cheese and the town and the windmills .. I also got great pictures and it was the highlight of the the trip!
