Additionally, there is a private Royal Amsterdam Diamond tour, offering insights into diamond history and a chance to admire a diamond with 268 cuts. Visitors will also have free time to explore the windmills and capture memorable photos.
- Catharina Hoeve Cheese Farm - This is the first stop at Zaanse Schans. As previously mentioned, visitors will enjoy a private tour of this historic cheese farm/factory, learning about traditional Dutch cheese-making and the farm’s history, along with tasting over 30 different cheese flavors.
- Kooijman Souvenirs & Clogs Wooden Shoe Workshop - At this location, guests can witness a live demonstration of wooden shoe-making by traditional clog makers, learn about the history of wooden shoes, and view various styles. Visitors can try on wooden shoes in different colors and take plenty of photos.
- Stadshart Zaandam - After visiting Zaanse Schans, the tour continues to Zaandam City Center to see the renowned ‘Lego’ building. Guests will have free time to take numerous photos or simply stroll around the ‘Lego Village’.
- Giethoorn - In the afternoon, participants will explore the ‘Little Venice’ of the Netherlands. They will have 3-4 hours to enjoy the sights with loved ones. The tour includes a 1-hour traditional boat cruise, and for those interested, there is an option to pilot a boat themselves for added fun with family or friends. The self-boat ride is available at an additional cost (approximately 10 euros per person, depending on the season).

Below Sea level but above my expectations! - Leidse was an awesome your guide! Very attentive, knowledgeable and witty with his information delivery! Although I was a solo traveler on this trip, I felt very comfortable the entire time. Would highly recommend! The stops made were as advertised and allowed for plenty of time at each spot.

Exceptional Tour Experience with Outstanding Service in Amsterdam - I had an absolutely wonderful experience on this tour, made truly memorable by our guide, Leidse. From the very beginning, he was incredibly friendly, attentive, and caring, making sure everyone in the group was comfortable and well taken care of throughout the entire journey.
What stood out the most was his dedication and professionalism. Leidse consistently prioritized the group’s experience, offering thoughtful recommendations and helpful advice at every stop. His knowledge and willingness to go the extra mile really enhanced the day.
At one point, he even skipped his own lunch to ensure everything ran smoothly and to prepare the boat for us on time—something I deeply appreciated. That level of commitment to customer service is rare and speaks volumes about his passion for what he does.

Amazing experience - Leidse is an amazing tour guide and I highly recommend to take this tour with him! He was right on time in fact early to pick me up. We picked up the other folks. Went to the Lego village first where we got enough time for photos. Following which we went to Zaanke Schans. Did a nice Cheese tour, tasted everything and bought a lot of cheese. Leidse even helped us with all our shopping so we could focus more on the tour. Throughout the car drive too, he kept sharing facts so not a moment felt boring. He made sure to keep the party alive and fun through the entire day and honestly because of that the whole drive felt so short. We even did the Clogs tour and then checked out the windmills. He shared with us a "Make your own chocolate" place which was also amazing. After that we went to the fairytale town of Giethoorn which was super pretty. We got an ample time of about 3 hours to have lunch, do the entire boat ride and then spend our free time walking around and getting in enough photos. He also rode the boat beautifully through the canals and helped us understand the history. Not only that he had each one of us try out driving the boat ourselves. Apart from that, he bought us StroopWafels, and some peppermints to try out. All in all we left with wonderful memories and a lovely day. I'll make sure to recommend this tour to others as well!
