Book This Now - Eva's storytelling brought the past to life, painting a vivid picture of historical events against the backdrop of the locations themselves. Her narratives focused on individual stories of choice, bravery, and courage, highlighting the accounts of people who chose to resist rather than be swept away by the prevailing current of events. The experience was deeply enhanced by the locations, which offered not only visual context but also a tangible connection to the past. Eva intimately shared her own family's personal journey, detailing their preparation for survival, the challenges of hiding, and their life after the war. This personal connection transformed the historical account from a simple story into a deeply moving and relatable human experience. The tour also provided a powerful moment of reflection, showing what the one's destiny could have been if they hadn't made certain choices, while also paying solemn respects to those who were not as fortunate in their circumstances or fate. What began as a simple online booking evolved into a pivotal moment of reflection on the past and present, not just as an individual but also for our entire small group. (Thank you Peter, Sharon, and Eva.) This was a truly unforgettable experience, and one that will never be forgotten.

Eva Turned WWII History from B/W to Color with Her Story - We have done hundreds of tours. Good ones give helpful and accurate information the guide learned from classes or books. We booked this tour with Eva after visiting castles with her last year and learning of her personal story of how she and her family were so personally impacted by the Nazis. Many survivors do not talk about the camps, but Eva's father is actually quite famous for sharing his tragic and impactful story. We got to hear and experience directly from Eva. Not an easy day, but so meaningful.

Highly recommend! - I highly recommend this experience with Dutch Tours. The owner and tour guide, Eva, is knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly has a passion for what she does. She cares about people and it shows. The content on this tour is obviously heavy but it is so important that people continue to remember the past and honor those who have endured tragedy. Eva’s personal family history adds to the impact and makes the experience even more meaningful. The travel time to and from Vught flies by as Eva shares her stories along with information about the area and answers questions. There is a nice cafe at the museum where you can have drinks & snacks along the way. Eva was prompt and the meeting place was easy to find with the instructions provided. Do not hesitate to book this tour - no one else is offering this experience and it is well worth it!

This tour was... - This tour was educational, moving and done with a very personal touch. Eva shared her family’s experiences of their time in hiding during the Holocaust and how it impacted them going forward. Because of the small group size people were free to discuss and ask questions and it made the experience much more meaningful. I can’t recommend this tour enough.

Interesting Visit, but not the guide! - camp vught is a somber place. Nicely presented the history. Unfortunately, our tour guide/driver was not very telling. She only gave us a brief description of the camp 5min before getting there. That was abour all. So I found it quite expensive for what we got in return. Eva, who is the owner of this tour company WAS NOT our guide. Most of the reviews I has read where about her and all the history and stories that she told along the way. That WAS NOT THE CASE TODAY. its a shame because I feel we didn’t get our moneys worth.

They cancelled - They cancelled us at the last minute because there weren’t enough people signed up. Left us no time to book excursion from ship. They should have notified us much earlier to let us make other arrangements. Quite a disappointment. Really looking forward to it.
