- Please note that in summer it gets dark at around 22:00
- On Fridays and Saturdays a lot of tourists visit the Red Light District. If you would like a quieter tour please take the tour on another day
- The tour will take place in any weather. Don’t forget an umbrella for rainy days
- Distance traveled is approximately 1.8 kilometers at a comfortable pace during the city tour
- It is forbidden to take photos of the prostitutes
- Participants of the public tour 16 years old and older must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Participants can go on the public tour unaccompanied from 18 years of age.

Departure Point: On the stairs of the national monument (Nationaal Monument) at Dam Square. The monument is a big white pillar/obelisk. Your tour guide will be wearing a red neckless/keycord with her/his name on it.

Great Time & Experience / Highly Recommend - We had an incredible tour with Risheet, we learned so much about the historic and beautiful red light district. Risheet did an incredible job presenting and guiding us along with giving great personal recommendations for our trip. Highly recommend.
It’s worth mentioning that the tour guides can’t take the tours into the heart of the red light due to local law. However we received great recommendations on where to go and what to check out on our own.

Redlight tour fantastic - Very fun and informative. Our guide was great. Sorry cannot remember his name but the whole experience was great. The walking pace and stops along the way made this a fun tour.

Lilly is the best!! - Lillly was so knowledgeable and a lot of fun. Loved hearing the history of the Red Light District and walking through the side streets. We had a small group of 10 so it made the tour super fun.

Great tour! - Our tour guide, Ginerva (apologies if her name is spelt incorrectly) was informative and funny which made the tour great! We had several stops where we learnt about The Red Light District and went walking through to see the sights. It went for 1.5hrs. Strongly advise to bring an umbrella if it’s raining. Highly recommend this tour!

Had a great time. - Very interesting. Learned a lot about the history of the RLD. Not sure what the daytime tours are like, but ours was 6pm after dark. Definitely recommend that time.
Our guide Risheet was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Loved the self guarded part after the official tour. Spend the 2 euros!

Oldest profession odyssey - It is a very enlightening tour of the oldest profession. This gives you facts about this legalized profession and how it had been established. Not for kids!! Our tour guide, Risheet, did an amazing job. Highly recommend him.

Very interesting and enjoyable tour - Lili was a great guide. The tour was really a primer for how to negotiate the red light district, if that is your thing. We were just curious, and wanted to see what it was all about, and this was a great tour for that too. Lili was very respectful to the profession of prostitution, and informed the group no pictures were allowed. She stayed back, and allowed us to wander past the windows if we wanted to. Lili was very informative, and answered everyone's questions. Overall, I would highly recommend. ``

Such a fit - Totally on the same. Nice review of Red Light District, but not worth the money. The guide could not come into the area, but it went fine to walk even following instructions from the god.
