Great intro to a fun neighborhood and Amsterdam history - My favorite tour of three I did in Amsterdam! I wasn't sure what to expect, but our guide Ben was hilarious as he gave us the unedited history of Amsterdam and the red light district, as well as the not-quite-legal coffeeshop world. Our tour was at 8pm when the district was starting to get rowdy for the night. Keep that in mind if you want a more relaxed or more party atmosphere as you're walking around.

Solid tour! - Maria was a fantastic tour guide. Very passionate about sharing the real history behind the Red Light District and giving agency to the women who have worked there in the past and now. I’m giving it four stars only because the crowds are a little sad. Drunk, ugly men ogling around by themselves and screaming bachelor & bachelorette parties get old really fast and takes away from the genuinely interesting history. However, the shellshocked grannies are hilarious.
