A visit worth taking! - Very informative tour, and Andrea has so many details! The food samples are also good, but the wealth of history of the district is the real reason to do this tpur.

Great Experience - We had a great time on this tour! Catherine was an amazing guide — incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and personable. She gave us a thoughtful and respectful history of Amsterdam and the Red Light District, with stories and context that really brought the area to life. While the experience is marketed as a food tour, it’s more of a light tasting of three local favorites. Definitely don’t come expecting a full meal. We read reviews beforehand and ate before the tour, so we weren’t disappointed — just something to keep in mind. Overall, a unique and well-guided experience. Catherine really made it worthwhile!

A Delicious, Personalized Tour Through Amsterdam’s Red Light District ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - This tour was the perfect mix of culture, history, and amazing food. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the Red Light District — sharing stories, history, and context that gave us a totally new perspective on the area. What made it even better? She tailored the food stops to exactly what we wanted. We skipped a few standard spots to try things that matched our tastes, and it felt super personal and relaxed. A must-do if you want to experience the Red Light District in a meaningful (and tasty!) way.

Informative and Eye Opening! - Fascinating and eye-opening! Wasn’t sure exactly what to expect on this tour but it was great! Andrea wove together the perfect combination of the history of the area going back to the 1400’s (loved the “Monkey Bar” story!) with delicious local specialities tasting and of course the unique area that is the “Red Light District”! She explained how the area came to be, the way the women are regulated and protected, and the fact that it is also a normal residential neighborhood with regular people living there. Staying on the other side of Amsterdam at the Ambassade Hotel in a much higher end area, we would had never experienced this unique area without Andrea’s tour.

Enjoyable but still hungry - Good information. But don’t expect much in terms of food. We shared 3 stroopwaffles between 7 people and two turnover things with 7 people and did not get the third item. Disappointing as the food tour was what we were looking for
