Your hands-on pancake cooking class during which you will learn to make a savory and sweet Dutch pancake from scratch will last about an hour and a half. Fantastic Experience - I highly recommend it! - Superb experience! Fusina was so welcoming and hospitable. I really enjoyed visiting with her & making the pancakes. Her home is in a very convenient & easy to find location, and has an amazing view of the canal. I learned so much from her & am now inspired to look for experiences like this everywhere I go.

A wonderful introduction to Amsterdam! - It is always so wonderful to meet a local and be welcomed into their home for an experience like this - to learn about the culture and the food and the people...we love to do this early on in the trip so that we actually feel more local ourselves as we continue in our holiday. Fusina gave us some fabulous restaurant recommendations for the remainder of our time in Amsterdam as well!

- Fusina was a generous host! She taught us how to make Dutch apple pancakes and bacon pancakes. In addition, she provided us with homemade apple bars, Dutch cheeses and herring. Fusina was kind and gave us an insight into life in The Netherlands, as well as many great recommendations for the rest of our trip!

A taste of the Netherlands - We really learned a lot in this class. It’s a very simple recipe that anyone can do but the history and hands on learning process is so valuable. She also had several cheeses, homemade apple pie, and herring for us to try. I also really loved how she explained the use of ingredients and focused on healthy foods.

Delicious and welcoming! - Fusina welcomed us into her beautiful home over the canal. She was a patient teacher, letting us measure the pancake ingredients and encouraging us to flip the pan in the traditional way! We enjoyed learning about everyday life, as well as special traditions in Amsterdam, capped off by sips of delicious wine after eating our creations!

Traditional Dutch Pancakes – Pannenkoeken…Great Experience - An excellent option for those who enjoy international cuisine… it’s something different, and Mrs. Fusina is very friendly, pleasant, and highly knowledgeable in traditional Dutch cooking. I definitely recommend her!
