With the nicest captain through the canal - There were three of us in Amsterdam for the first time and our nice captain, Joost, steered ubs very nicely through the canal. He was our DJ and the best waiter in the world!

Unforgettable Romantic Experience in Amsterdam! - We had an absolutely amazing night! The boat was beautiful, offering the perfect setting for a romantic evening. Mark, our skipper, was incredible – so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely great to chat with. He really made the experience feel personal and relaxed. Seeing Amsterdam from the water was mesmerizing. The views were stunning, and it gave us a whole new appreciation for the city’s charm and beauty. This was hands down the best romantic date experience we’ve had in Amsterdam – intimate, unique, and truly memorable. We can’t recommend it enough! To top it all off, the food from the restaurant was outstanding – cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious.

Great experience! - Quick and easy contact via Whatsapp. Boat was great, nice captain who knew a lot of nice things about the city and the artworks in the Amsterdam Light Festival. I was with my girlfriend and they had made sure the setting on the boat was super romantic, with nice soft background music and candlelight. Definitely recommended!

Great Trip!!! - The trip was amazing, what a great, intimate way to see the city!!! The boat (Ritz) is a beautiful old classic that is in pristine condition. Our guide Jost was very informative and friendly. I will definitely be coming back and would definitely recommend adding it to your list of things to do in Amsterdam.

A fantastic cherry on our Amsterdam cake - From the first contact to Robertino by eMail it felt like the right decision to book this private tour on the Szar. The response time to email by the Boatboys is fabulous and makes you feel like an appreciated and valued customer. My girlfriends were absolutely taken by the historic boat Szar, food and canal panorama. Like in the movies. All in all an experience that you will never forget. Great as a finishing polish to an Amsterdam city trip. We were accompanied by captain Scott who could have been chosen specifically for our group of four. He was easy to talk to, always hit the right sense of humour and made us feel utterly comfortable, he just blended in. His knowledge of the city is great and he managed the tour including food pickup and bathroom stop professionally.

Fun in Amsterdam - The dinner cruise was the highlight of our trip to Amsterdam. The food was excellent and our captain was amazing - very knowledgeable on Amsterdam history, great sense of humor, made you feel comfortable and never felt rushed. It was great to have the private boat experience instead of the large packed tourist vessels.

Would have liked to rate 6/5 - Great experience on this very nice and sleek wood boat (with electric propulsion). Super good guide, a wealth of knowledge (and history graduate) and very nice with us. Dinner (ordered at vanderkaarte) above our (low) expectations : this was good actually. Just the wine served on board was quite average. Overall a great experience that will remain in our memory. Thanks !!

Overpriced and average. Saved in part by guide. - Our captain and tour guide, Sven, was very knowledgeable and engaging. He was the best part of the tour. The food was average. The tour was overpriced.
