• Anne Frank House - Located on the historic Prinsengracht, this renowned house was the hiding place for Anne Frank and her family during the turbulent times of World War II.

• Westerkerk - The Westerkerk (Western Church) is a Reformed church within the Dutch Protestant church, situated in central Amsterdam, Netherlands. It is located in the westernmost part of the Grachtengordel neighborhood (Centrum borough), adjacent to the Jordaan, between the Prinsengracht and Keizersgracht.

• Koninklijk Theater Carre - The Royal Theatre Carré (Koninklijk Theater Carré) is a Neo-Renaissance theatre in Amsterdam, near the river Amstel. Established in 1887, it was initially intended as a permanent circus venue. Today, it primarily hosts musicals, cabaret shows, and pop concerts.

• Rijksmuseum - Founded in The Hague in 1800 and relocated to Amsterdam in 1808, the Rijksmuseum was initially housed in the Royal Palace and later in the Trippenhuis. The current main building, designed by Pierre Cuypers, opened in 1885. After a decade-long renovation costing €375 million, the main building was reopened by Queen Beatrix on April 13, 2013. In 2013 and 2014, it was the most visited museum in the Netherlands, attracting 2.2 million and 2.47 million visitors, respectively. It is also the largest art museum in the country. Our boats will sail along the Prinsengracht, offering views of the Rijksmuseum.

The museum showcases 8,000 objects of art and history from its total collection of 1 million items dating from 1200 to 2000, including masterpieces by Rembrandt, Frans Hals, and Johannes Vermeer. It also features a small Asian collection displayed in the Asian pavilion.

• The Amstel - The Amstel is the largest canal, and Amsterdam originated from this canal, which was initially a river. Fishermen built a “dam” and named it Amsterdam.
• Seven Bridges View Point - Due to the curved nature of most canals in Amsterdam, seeing through multiple bridges at once is a rare sight!
• The Jordaan - The most popular theory about the name’s origin is that it derives from the French word Jardin, meaning garden, as many streets and canals in the Jordaan are named after trees and flowers. Another theory suggests that the Prinsengracht canal was once nicknamed Jordaan (the Dutch name for the river Jordan), and the neighborhood beyond the canal adopted this name. • Herengracht - The three main canals (Herengracht, Prinsengracht, and Keizersgracht), dug in the 17th century during the Dutch Golden Age, form concentric belts around the city, known as the Grachtengordel. Alongside these canals are 1,550 monumental buildings. The 17th-century canal ring area, including the Prinsengracht, Keizersgracht, Herengracht, and Jordaan, was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010, enhancing Amsterdam’s reputation as the “Venice of the North.”
• Prinsengracht - Our boats will cruise along the Prinsengracht.
• Munt Tower (Munttoren) - The Munttoren (mint tower) was once part of the Regulierspoort, which included a gate with a tower on each side. Constructed between 1480 and 1487 as part of the medieval city wall, the tower was used to mint coins in the 17th century.
• Dutch National Opera & Ballet - The Dutch National Opera (DNO; formerly De Nederlandse Opera, now De Nationale Opera) is a Dutch opera company based in Amsterdam. Its current home is the Dutch National Opera & Ballet, located in the Stopera building, a modern structure designed by Cees Dam and Wilhelm Holzbauer, which opened in 1986.
• Magere Brug - Among Amsterdam’s many bridges is the picturesque Magere Brug, known in English as the Skinny Bridge. This wooden drawbridge was once so narrow that two pedestrians could barely pass each other. To accommodate increasing traffic on the Amstel, a wider bridge replaced the original in 1871.
