Spend an entire day on the stunning Friesian island of Texel and experience the surrounding Waddensea, a UNESCO World Heritage site! This day-long island tour is perfect for families - we will drive to the north, take a ferry to Texel, and discover its National Parks, ancient villages, and beaches. The Waddensea is renowned for the significant disparity between high and low tide, the migration of birds, and its breathtaking natural beauty. Weather and tide permitting, the tour will include a brief hike on the mudflats, which form the base of the Waddensea. We will pause for lunch in one of the historic villages (not included in the tour). We’ll pick you up in Amsterdam in the morning and drop you off in the late afternoon. Enjoy a day full of island adventure on one of the most attractive islands in Holland!
