Great sensory experience. - Great way for kids to experience the famous art work without having to walk through a proper museum. My daughter is 9 and really enjoyed the immersive experience where she could kinda just let loose and run around a bit. Highly suggest doing a time lapse video on your phone of the Monet portion.

Great presentation of the Dutch Masters - I bought my ticket after seeing a poster downtown Amsterdam. It is an immersive presentation of the Dutch masters’ work through lights, movement, and music. It is a full and almost spiritual experience. I highly recommend it.

Wow just wow - Incredible experience. Well priced. The show was fantastic and mesmerising. Super high walls and lots of places to sit and watch. The music added to the atmosphere which was so peaceful. Great graphics. Somewhat confusing at times, we entered during the show and didn’t realise when it ended that we had more to see. Pick up a leaflet to find out which animals are shown first and what is at the end (whales). Loved it!!

Getting up early is worth it - We were there on Sunday mornings to see the masters of Holland. It was very impressive and is definitely worth a visit.Afterwards you get a short impression of the following event the sea which we found not so nice for us, is guaranteed quite great for children.

Cool experience! - The experience started with some old Amsterdam pictures Then there was a Claude Monet installation which basically represented all drawings The area before Studio wasn’t impressive, however the Studio itself was!

Large screens of paintings - Extremely large screens ... which are the whole walls, probably 30' high, and whole floors! Good paintings, good music!

Always enjoyable - Always a great experience. I have been multiple times and I always enjoy it. I particularly loved the Klimt experience in 2022, as well as the Ancient Egypt one in June 2025. Though there are many places to seat down, I would recommend walking around and to see each show twice in a row to have a full experience. It is a bit outside the city center but very easy to reach with public transport, and the complex (Westergasfabriek) itself is very nice. I recommend going during the week, as in the weekends it can get extremely crowded.

Beautiful concept, but some rude visitors ruined the atmosphere - The location and the art at Fabrique des Lumières are truly beautiful, but unfortunately my experience was spoiled by some very inconsiderate visitors. At one point, we briefly placed our belongings on a bench, and another visitor immediately started speaking to us in a rude tone, even though we responded politely and were already about to move our things. Instead of calming down, he kept reacting in an unpleasant and exaggerated way. Later, at the photobooth, we were trying to take a quiet picture, but people kept opening the curtain while we were inside. Even when we kindly asked them to wait a moment, they were impatient and disrespectful. The staff themselves were very friendly and helpful, but sadly some visitors behave in such an antisocial way that it really ruins the atmosphere. It’s a shame, because the place itself is wonderful — it’s just the crowd that brings the experience down.
