Must do in Amsterdam - It was a great mix of food, culture and history ..It did not seem like 3.5 hours..Very impressed that host knew all of our names within 10 minutes of our tour starting. He greeted each of us individually. I loved the hands on and attention to detail. Highly recommend!

Fair Value - It is not just about the food, the tour itself is really made by the host. Roman was excellent and brought true French je ne sais quoi to the evening. The meals were exactly what we expected and well presented, and the experience was relaxed and engaging. The only small disappointment was that the stroopwafels were not made fresh and appeared to be pre-packaged, likely due to the time constraints and the size of the group. Other than that, it was a great way to spend the evening tasting local foods while learning some interesting history about Amsterdam. Thank you, Roman.

The reviews are 100% spot on, flawless experience - My wife mainly went on the positive reviews for this tour and they were 100% spot on. Roman was perhaps the best tour guide we've had with the many tours we've had over the years. The tour setup itself was also fantastic, with the right mixture of foods and short breaks between, intermingled with history of the city. But Roman himself made the tour and thank you so much!

Great mix of food and experiences! - Roman was amazing. So fun, informative and animated. He made a cold day warm with his enthusiasm, knowledge and great food stops. We hit the highlights of food, from frites to apple pie, with plenty of stops for historical perspective. It was really a great way to experience the city.

Yummy fun - We enjoyed a walking tour of Amsterdam, in which we saw the only remaining wooden house in the city, for instance, while stopping as we walked to taste prime examples of Dutch food (including the best fries I’ve ever eaten). Our guide was knowledgeable, caring, and funny. He was also an excellent shepherd of 12 straggling tourists in city traffic.

Great learning and eating with Roman - Roman was a great guide, taking us on a journey throughout Amsterdam, touching on cultural and historical aspects of the city intermingled with great food stops in hidden places. He is charming and engaging and funny. And, best of all, he remembers our names and plays off of comments that we make. He was great fun to be with! Thank you, Roman.

Great and balanced tour - The experience was a perfect mix of yummy foods, historical information, and personal stories. Roman is a lovely guide who will make you feel welcome and comfortable. The foods are a good balance of savory and sweet and the walking never felt exhausting. I highly recommend this tour!
