He explained everything to us very well in German and answered all of our many questions. Along the way, we were able to see many waterways that the big boats don't (or can't) travel on. Amsterdam magic at night - What a great time. We had to re-schedule due to a flight issue and Captain Paap was accommodating. We did a night tour for 90 minutes and it was excellent. The history lesson and beauty of Amsterdam a night was outstanding. His knowledge of the waterways was excellent. We would absolutely recommend this tour company.

AMAZING as usual...still the best tour of Amsterdam... - and I should know as have been on the water since 2005! Great intimate boat, lovely quiet electric. Paap has so much knowledge of the canals...mages to pick the magic spots. Love it! Will be back!

Great boat, great captain - This electrical boat fits 10 and the really nice captain has a supply of prosseco and more in a fridge. We had a great time!

Relaxing and personal canal cruise - The boat trip with the captain was very reassuring due to the personal atmosphere. It was noticeable that he enjoyed telling us about Amsterdam and bringing us closer to the city. Through anecdotes, his stories were refreshing and not due to mass tourism. Our well-being was taken care of - on the windy day even blankets were stowed on the boat and were available to us.

Makes every boat trip a special experience - The warm, friendly, welcoming and above all experienced skipper. For years, on the days that are so very special to us, always gives us the most beautiful cruises. I've done a lot of canal tours, but find Paping standing head and shoulders above the rest. I recommend it to everyone.

Very nice private tour - Very nice informative private tour for us 6 family members. The sympathetic skipper explained the history of Amsterdam to us in German and also gave current anecdotes as the best. Very clean tidy boat which was disinfected before and after the trip. Great value for money. As a nice surprise there were chilled drinks. We were very satisfied and can only recommend this tour.

Canal cruise away from mass tourism - Very nice, private tour. There were 6 of us and we had the boat to ourselves. There were even free drinks and sparkling wine. The tour went through many different channels, including those that are not approached by tourists. So we could also see the giraffes of Amsterdam Zoo from the water. We were able to hole our captain with questions he was happy to answer. We can only recommend the tour
