• Thalapiyannawa Road - This exceptional Batik workshop is designed to be highly interactive and engaging. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of Traditional Wax Batik and Batik painting techniques. The workshop covers the entire process from selecting fabric to drawing and completing the waxwork, with attendees having the chance to practice each step themselves under the careful supervision of our instructor.

What to Expect

Hands-On Experience:
Participants will have the opportunity to create their own Batik Cloth under the expert guidance of a Batik Specialist.

Traditional Setting:
The workshop is led by a highly experienced couple who have been in the industry for many years. Their home studio is charming and equipped with all the traditional tools.

Participate in an engaging and interactive Hands-on Batik Experience, where every step of creating a Batik Cloth is covered. Participants will have the chance to design their own piece and keep it as a memento. Using traditional tools, attendees will observe the daily work of a skilled batik instructor and creator. With a small group size, there is ample opportunity to ask questions. The instructor will provide personal guidance to each participant as needed.
