• Petra - Wadi Musa - Departure is scheduled for 5:00 or 6:00 am from any location in Amman. The journey through the desert highway takes approximately 3 hours to reach the Nabatean red rose city of Petra in the south. Petra, one of the 7 wonders of the world, has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985. Located 230 kilometers from Amman, it was carved into stone over 2000 years ago to control the trade routes of ancient Arabia. Visitors can explore its towns, dams, and water channels, and enjoy a walk along the narrow Siq, the main entrance to the city. Other notable sites include The Monastery and the Altar of Sacrifice.

At 9:00 am, arrive at the Visitor Center in Petra to purchase a ticket, unless you have a Jordan Pass, in which case you can simply present the printed paper or show it on your phone to scan the barcode. Begin the Petra site tour, which lasts 3-4 hours.

12:00 pm Depart for the Dead Sea

• Dead Sea Region - At 12:00 pm, head to the Dead Sea via the back road, Namalel road, which takes about 3 hours. Stop for panoramic photos through the high mountains leading down to the Wadi Arabah road, which starts after 40 km. Along the way, there are several points of interest, including Prophet Lot’s cave and the lowest point on earth museum. At the start of the Dead Sea, take a 5-10 minute break for a photo opportunity of the Dead Sea salt corals.

3:00 pm Arrive at a Dead Sea resort hotel and enjoy the facilities, including the beach, pools, Dead Sea mud, cold water, and an open lunch buffet with vegetarian options. Spend two to three hours enjoying the Dead Sea and swimming, concluding around 6:00 pm. Then, head back to Amman, a one-hour drive, and drop off at the original pick-up point.

7:00 pm Arrive in Amman city.
