Roman Theatre - The Roman Theatre in Amman is a 6,000-seat, 2nd-century Roman theatre. A renowned landmark in Jordan’s capital, it dates back to the Roman era when the city was known as Philadelphia. The theatre and the nearby Odeon flank the new Hashemite Plaza from the south and east, respectively.

The Citadel - The Citadel boasts a rich history of occupation by numerous great civilizations. Evidence of habitation since the Neolithic period has been discovered, and the hill was fortified during the Bronze Age (1800 BC). It became the capital of the Kingdom of Ammon after 1200 BC and later fell under the influence of empires such as the Neo-Assyrian Empire (8th century BC), Neo-Babylonian Empire (6th century BC), the Ptolemies, the Seleucids (3rd century BC), Romans (1st century BC), Byzantines (3rd century AD), and the Umayyads (7th century AD).

Jerash Ruins - Jerash is the largest Roman ruins site outside of Rome and the most well-preserved Roman ruins globally. It is also one of the 10 Decapolis cities.

Ajlun Castle (Qala’at ar-Rabad) - Ajloun Castle is a 12th-century Muslim castle situated on a hilltop in the Mount Ajloun district. From its elevated position, the castle guarded three wadis descending towards the Jordan Valley. Built by the Ayyubids in the 12th century, it protected the caravan and pilgrim routes to Mecca from crusader attacks.

Mount Nebo - Mount Nebo is an elevated ridge in Jordan, approximately 710 meters (2,330 ft) above sea level. It is mentioned in the Hebrew Bible as the place where Moses was shown the Promised Land. The summit offers a panoramic view of the land and, to the north, a more limited view of the Jordan River valley. On clear days, the West Bank city of Jericho and Jerusalem are visible, as is the Dead Sea.

St. George’s Church - Saint George Church, also known as the Church of the Map, houses the Madaba Mosaic Map. This map is part of a floor mosaic in the early Byzantine church of Saint George in Madaba. The Madaba Map depicts the Middle East and includes the oldest surviving original cartographic representation of the Holy Land, particularly Jerusalem, dating to the 6th century AD.

St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church - This Latin Catholic Church is the oldest church where religious rituals have been continuously held since its construction. It features numerous paintings, frescoes, and sculptures depicting the life of John the Baptist (Yahya). The church also contains an acropolis with ancient basements, an old Moabite well, and several ancient monuments beneath it, once used as a temple, school, and priest’s residence. The church is affiliated with the Latin school. The monastery visitor center showcases a replica of a Byzantine mosaic floor found in Umm al-Rasas. Visitors can also ascend the bell tower for a view of Madaba city.
