Journey back to a period before the Western Pennsylvania wilderness was ‘conquered’ by white Europeans, a time when Native Americans constructed mounds and journeyed the trails. But be careful, as this soon becomes the most perilous location on the globe. We commence at Logstown, the original frontier town, and conclude at the strongholds erected at the Forks of the Ohio. En route, we’ll encounter prowling wolves and exuberant Native Americans. Our Grandmother will enlighten us about why all the creatures deserted the Lenape lands. Charles Dickens will share his thoughts on his riverboat voyage down the Ohio. Additionally, we’ll visit a Native American burial mound that was slowly dismantled until it vanished. Marti Donovan, a woman who shares her home with a variety of animals, will deliver Grandmother’s sagacity.
