Look no further, it is here - Spectacular experience from start to finish!! Starting with the interaction with Byron to coordinate the pickup at the hotel and the transfer to the lodge, to the end of the trip when they dropped us off at the Iquitos airport.
While most accommodations offer similar experiences, the Amazon Jaguar Adventure & Lodge stands out for being an authentic family business, with local people who truly know and respect the environment. This was what made us decide on them, and we could not have been more right!
The rooms were impeccable, clean, and super comfortable. Many thanks to Álvaro for ensuring we had everything we needed, including the spiral for mosquitoes (which ultimately was not necessary, because the rooms are fully protected with mosquito nets).
The food... wow, a superior level! Abundant and of very high quality. All cooked by Lourdes, who always surprised us with authentic, diverse, and delicious dishes: fish, chicken, vegetables, eggs, rice, noodles, and more, always accompanied by different fruits and natural juices.
The excursions, led by Alex, were super educational and fun. Even with rain, no plan was ever canceled, and we never stopped enjoying. Absolutely fantastic! We were lucky to see a lot of species of animals and plants, we fished, swam in the Amazon, walked through the jungle day and night, rowed... everything. There was always something different to do. At the same time, we had the freedom to explore the nearby village of the lodge, a truly rewarding experience that allowed us to meet the people who inhabit that place.
We highlight the kindness, willingness, and professionalism of everyone. They were always attentive to us and to ensure we lacked nothing. Special mention to Robin, the helmsman of the boat, who took care of all our transfers with the best attitude.
In summary: 100% recommended for its comfort, authenticity, and above all, for the quality and warmth of the human touch.

Highly recommend Tour - Together with my brother, I joined a 5-day tour with Alex, and we had an amazing experience. Following his recommendation, we chose the expedition in the Tamshiyacu Reserve and were absolutely thrilled with our decision.
We saw many animals and enjoyed a variety of exciting and well-organized expeditions. We also really liked the accommodation and the food. Everything is run by the local community, which made the experience even more special because you not only discover the incredible nature but also get to learn about the local way of life.
There were also vegetarian food options available, which we appreciated very much.
I can highly recommend this organization. Everything was perfectly arranged, and we truly had a wonderful time.

Absolutely recommendable - The tour is absolutely recommendable — everything was perfectly organized. Our guide Alex was excellent, and thanks to him we were able to see many animals.
The daily program was diverse and varied, and it was specifically adapted to our wishes and preferences. The lodge was very comfortable, and the food was also delicious. Vegetarian food was available as well, which was no problem at all.
Everything was organized and run by locals, which made the experience feel less touristy and more familiar and adventurous. Overall, I can highly recommend this tour.

No blah-blah. Just the essentials. Autenthic meeting - If you are looking for a small committee tour you are in the right place. This agency only works with small groups of tourists which promotes a tailor-made immersive experience. For me I was lucky because I enjoyed a private tour, we were both in the lodge! Everything went very well. We had the chance to see many animals (lazy, monkeys of different species, macaos, tarantula,...). Nothing is guaranteed but the guides will do their best to locate as much as possible the life in the area).
We were two girls and we felt safe.
There were day and night explorations and fishing activity. It is also possible to swim in the river for the less daring.

Jungle King - Wow!I had an amazing experience in the Purivian jugles! The Amazon area is wildly different then anything I had ever seen.Dense jungles/bizarre insects/many species of birds/ animals/plant life! Beautiful exotic people.It is so contrasting to North America in so many ways that you just have to go experience and discover for yourself.Alex,Jairo and Reynel are the real deal.They come from the jungle.They know the jungle.They teach you about jungle life and all that comes with it.These men are amazing!They always had my best interests in mind.They exceeded my expectations on all levels.I was able to do a traditional Ayahuasca ceremony.Reynel "Jungle King' harvested the plants/brewed the drink and lead the ceremony with Jairo and Alex also present making it an incredible and safe experience.I really enjoyed the whole jungle experience and 150% recommend going with this tour.You will not be disappointed.They are family and treat you like family!Thank you so much for eveything! Authentic and highly recommended experience - [ENP] We took a four-day trip through the Amazon jungle in Iquitos, Peru, with Amazon Jaguar Adventure, operated by Bayron, and the experience was excellent. The service was totally personalized, as my partner and I were accompanied at all times by Bayron and another guide just for us. His knowledge of Amazonian fauna and flora is impressive and makes the excursions very interesting.
The accommodation, managed by Jairo, a local person, was very well equipped, protected against mosquitoes and with good amenities considering that it is in the middle of the jungle. Bruss, his son, was our guide, taking us along rivers and lagoons and on walks through the jungle, always very professionally.
Homemade and traditional food was delicious. In addition, it is a local and authentic business and in this way supports the communities of the area, all in a beautiful environment, with a lot of wildlife around, where we could see numerous animals in their natural habitat, one of the biggest attractions of the trip.
Highly recommended. As an only advice, go well equipped with mosquito repellent.

Simply unforgettable - We chose carefully the company with which we wanted to have an experience in the Amazon because we wanted to go to a specific place (TAMSHIYACU – TAHUAYO REGIONAL CONSERVATION AREA) and we absolutely wanted to do it with a Peruvian company. We knew it would be a significant portion of our travel budget (5 weeks in Peru with a family of three generations), but our previous trips to Latin America led us to believe that we would not regret it. And now that we have, we are convinced that we could not have done better! Alex is an extraordinary (and bilingual!) guide who loves the Amazon and wants to share his love for this place, this exceptional biodiversity, culture, beliefs and people’s lives in these places. Don Jairo and his family, who welcomed us to their beautiful lodge, contributed to this extraordinary sharing. Don Jairo even took our son every day to empty his fishing net and made him taste all the fish they caught together. In any case, we benefited greatly from the knowledge of our guides. In fact, we probably liked everything about our experience with Amazon Jaguar Adventure & Lodge. The lodge itself is intimate (there were only two bungalows, so the experience was exclusive). The rooms were perfect, with a balcony, a hammock, comfortable beds, mosquito nets to keep mosquitoes away. We felt that Alex was constantly keen to fulfill our desire to discover the place and we never felt that we were slot machines to him. Rather, we felt that his love for the place outweighed everything else. In fact, he was professional to the end, ensuring on our return to Iquitos that our host was there to open us up. In short, we definitely recommend this experience, which we will certainly remember for the rest of our days. Just close your eyes to hear all those intertwined noises that occupy the Amazonian days and nights... How lucky we were!

A unique experience with spectacular scenery - An authentic and magical adventure in the Peruvian Amazon
Amazon Jaguar Aventure and Lodge exceeded all my expectations. The place is beautiful, surrounded by pure nature, ideal to disconnect and live a real experience in the jungle. The staff was very friendly and attentive throughout. The guides passionately shared their knowledge of medicinal plants, fauna and local culture. I loved walking, boating and nights under the stars. The food was delicious and prepared with local ingredients. I felt safe, comfortable and connected to nature. Without a doubt, an enriching and recommended experience for those who seek adventure and authenticity. Thank you for making this trip unforgettable!
