Fantastic whale watching - Great experience, even at 20 degrees below zero. The equipment was fabulous. Impressions for the whole family, we will certainly do again.

Orcas and Humpbacks in Alta - We were super lucky today: the weather was good (apart from being cold) and we saw a large Orca family feeding with at least the Humpbacks joining them. Sea eagle and sea gulls were everywhere - and they were close to the RIB. Manon was our lady driver and she did a great job driving and making everyone feel comfortable. You get all the necessary gear so you won’t get cold. You even get served a hot drink and some chocolate on the RIB! Well done ladies and thank you for an unforgettable morning! ❤️

Fun Alta excursion! - Friendly people who really try to get you in front of a whale. We were struggling to find any whales and he boat captain took off across the fjord and found an entire pod of orcas, who looked incredible. I would recommend wearing every warm layer you have as the included clothing is nice but not sufficient, especially for colder days.

Amazing experience - Amazing experience, totally recommended. I was lucky that we had a wonderful day and we saw so many orcas, humpback, and fin whales. We were surrounded. The captain was very knowledgeable and funny in his own way. :) I went twice.

Totally worth it - It was such a fun boat ride. Even though we didn't see many whales, the experice of seeing the fjord from the water was amazing.

Whale safari - Amazing trip with experienced crew. I would recommend Æventyr for everyone that visit Alta. Might seem a bit expensive, but definitely worth it.

Wonderful Trip but Check Details! - We had a wonderful time on this trip to see whales in Alta. Just make sure you check all the details, as the reality of our trip was nothing like the details listed here. We drove 5 minutes to a harbour in Alta and boarded a RIB with only 6 other people. It was brilliant to be on such a small boat and able to go so fast and we were given lots of clothing to keep us warm. However it was still freezing as we were exposed to the elements and after the first few hours we were really struggling. We did see fin whales close up which was amazing! When we got back they provided us with a hot drink and chicken wrap - for the price we were expecting a little bit more than this! But it was still a fantastic trip and the people who ran it were wonderful and kept us safe and happy. Just be prepared to be outside in the arctic elements for many hours and wear as much as you possibly can!

Not again for us - Trip was well organized, but the boattrip doesnt start in Alta... you drive 20min outwards and only ride the boat in the one sidearm of the fjord... the same view as from the street close by. The goggles were useless because the view got blocked by sprayed water. We wanted to do another tour by boat but engine got a problem so we got offered this one (we think there were not enough tourist booking the boat because we were the only two from that boat, so they wanted to safe). Unfortunatly we did not see any whales (first day in two months apparently...). Zourguides were french and lots of french talking... So for us, we would not book again... too expensive too bad view, with too bad circumstances (goggles, cardrive ahead). Sad
