Great tour, our guide... - Great tour, our guide Wendy was awesome. The downside of this type of tour is always that you want more time in various places, however the stops and various lookout points were all fantastic, especially for someone visiting for the first time.

Amazing trip with Karis and Timberbush! - We went on a day trip today with Timberbush tours from Edinburgh. We visited Holy Island, Alnwick and Northumbria from Edinburgh. Our guide was Karis. She was amazing - vivacious, very knowledgeable and super nice. Her energy level while she drove as well as kept up a Very witty and inyrt commentary-truly amazing! A great trip.

Spectacular views, history, and so much more - The Holy Island is amazing and inspirational. The scenery is breathtaking. The castle has activities for all ages and should not not just be associated with Harry Potter, because it is so much more. The interior is full of treasures of untold wealth, yet show the signs a real loving family live there. Our tour guide/ driver Mark was informative in a fun way instead of just telling dry facts. He increased the enjoyment of the day.

Our day with Karis - Awesome day trip, Karis is an amazing guide. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, and funny. We luckily had great weather too. Not all day was spent in the coach so that was a plus as well.

I loved it - It was amazing. Our guide Karis told lots of stories and was great. We had lots of time at Alnwick castle and gardens it was much bigger than I thought.

Great experience - We had the best day with Karis! She was very knowledgeable and gave some great suggestions for activities at each stop. I would recommend Timberbrush Tours (and Karis) for anyone looking for a fun one day tour from Edinburgh.

Had a splendid time! - Even though I went alone, it didn’t feel like I was completely alone! The tour guides made me feel completely welcomed and they were extremely friendly and warmth. I’m glad I booked my tour with this company because this has made me want to come back here again and bring my family this time. 🤗 The story tellings to the historical stories of the places we went were short and sweet (funny too!) — easy for me to understand!

Alnwick Castle et al in April. - Really great day. Our guide Neil was wonderfully informative with lots of interesting little tidbits. Lindisfarne was crazy cold, windy and rainy and were we to do it again we would skip the walk to the castle and focus on the priory and maybe a beverage in one of the hotels. Alnwick castle was cool, but at this time of year I'd skip the gardens.
