Thank you for this amazing experience - A big thank you to Darya and Gulnaz for this fabulous experience – we will keep wonderful memories of these 6 days in the Almaty region. Everything was perfect. Darya is a caring person, always making sure that tourists feel comfortable and enjoy their trip. We appreciated her flexibility during the journey, her willingness to share the history of her country, and the excellent organization of the trip. In addition to being very knowledgeable, Darya designed off-the-beaten-track itineraries that allowed us to enjoy nature without tourists. Finally, we would like to thank Darya and Gulnaz for the complete meals they prepared – they were delicious. We recommend Darya and Gulnaz as a guide. Highly recommended round trip with great guide ( Alyona) - We were with Alyona for more than a week on a round trip through southeastern Kazakhstan. The tour was very versatile in terms of activities and scenery. Alyona organized a driver who took us safely over all the rough slopes - desert, mountains, fords - all no problem. Alyona’s flexibility allowed us to easily change plans because our luggage had not arrived and we had to stock up on completely new clothes first. She tried very hard to make the tour as informative and interesting as possible. We really learned a lot about the country, people, history and landscape, which made this trip a fascinating experience. Alyona has tailored this trip exactly to our wishes. Hiking to Shymbulak Glacier, horseback riding to Kolsai Lake, drive to Asy Plateau were just some highlights. We would do such a tour again immediately, it was fantastic- Thanks for this great experience!!!!

Horseback Riding Adventure with Daria - We had an unforgettable horseback riding experience in the Kungey Alatau mountains, and I can't recommend it enough. The breathtaking beauty of the landscape in the fall was an absolute highlight, perfect for leaf peeping and immersing yourself in the wonders of nature. Our guide Daria, was an absolute gem. Her passion for the mountains was evident in every conversation and every stop along the way. Her skills extended beyond guiding: she prepared amazing meals for us and made the entire experience fun with her enthusiasm and positive energy.

An unforgettable trip in mountains - I attended the Three Kolsay Lakes Horseback riding & hiking trip. As a solo traveler, I am really happy to join the trip with the other two travelers that Powder Nomands arranged. This is my first time attending a long-distance trip in the wild. Even though I have almost zero experience in horseback riding and hiking in the wild, I was taken good care of by the team leader. I was told the equipment that I needed to prepare and all the detailed notices. During the trip, I also received clear guidance. This is a three-day tour. The first two days we were on the back of the horse and the last day we were hiking. Everyone had their own horse and these horses are really good at climbing the mountains! We have control of our horses by ourselves with the reins in our hands and our guides will help us when it is necessary. We visited three lakes inside the mountains and I have to say the scenery is splendid! The first night we slept in a small wooden house on the top of the mountain ( nearly 3000 altitude) and the second night we slept in the tents next to a lake. Our guide prepared all the food and water for us during this three-day trip. (Except for the dinner on the last day) The weather in the mountains changes. Sometimes it will be rainy. But as long as we prepared a raincoat, it was fine.

Impromptu, whirlwind trip around eastern Kazakhstan with Powder Nomads - My partner and I had a really special experience in Kazakhstan under the guidance of Darya and Alex. We originally signed up for the 3 day horseriding and hiking trip in Kolsay but I came down with a cold a day before. I reached out to Darya (who responds very quickly via WhatsApp) who was able to put together a special itinerary that was less physically intensive for us under short notice. I was impressed by how well thought-out the impromptu 3 day trip ended up being, as it preserved a lot of the important elements we were looking for (horseriding and hiking around Kazakhstan) and was ccombined with Darya's knowledge of the area, culminating in our privilege of experiencing a lot of different sights in the country in a short period of time (Charyn Canyon, Singing Dunes, Turgen mountains, and even a private visit to an apple orchard). I was really impressed by Darya's knowledge as a guide and appreciated her breadth of knowledge on all sorts of topics on her country. Her appreciation of the outdoors and wildlife were particularly nice and we appreciated learning about the plants and animals we encountered during horseriding and hiking. Also, she took pictures of me and my partner throughout the trip and generously shared them with us at the end. They definitely turned out better than most of the pics I took, so that was a truly nice and unexpected bonus! Alex's driving was really skilled, especially getting us to places when we were running late. We really enjoyed getting to know him and Darya better and hearing about their perspectives on Kazakh culture! We realize that we only experienced a limited amount of the Kazakh outdoor experience that Darya and Alex can offer this time around and would be excited to seek them out for more adventures if we visit Kazakhstan again. We'll definitely be recommending them to our friends who love adventurous travel in any case!

Best MIG ever - It's the best trip of my life. The best unforgettable experiences, emotions, sensations. These strong, intelligent, trained, horses took us along such beautiful mesmerizing paths, lakes, cliffs, passes, forests, pistes, climbs - it's an unforgettable 3 days of my life flew by like a single moment. I'm very happy. So much positive energy. It's a great team. Wonderful trustworthy friends you could count on in your time of need. A huge thank you for this hike to all of you. Especially Ponomare Dasha to the founder of these amazing adventures!!! She CAN... And Kadyrbeku with Alikhan to our guides with his beautifully trained horses (Honour and Glory)!!! Great and brave and just good guys Kirill and Ilya! You guys are beautiful!!! And to our wonderful companion Irina, who inspired us to live a full life here and now!!! Dancing with hiking sticks is just an indelible experience, super!!! To understand that, you have to go through it! I want to go back! Great thanks!
