• Almaty - The journey will follow the Kuldjinskiy route, once traversed by caravans of the Great Silk Road heading towards the Chinese border centuries ago. There will be an opportunity to discuss the history of the Great Silk Road, the cultures that inhabited these lands, and their traditions and religions.
  To the left, travelers will enjoy the expansive views of the Great Steppe, the birthplace of nomadic civilization, where herds still graze and a network of wild paths leads to local shepherds’ farms. To the right, the snow-capped peaks of the ancient Tian Shan mountains will be visible. The route will then pass through the Kok Pek gorge, Sugatinskaya, and Zhelanashskaya valleys, showcasing villages that once cultivated tobacco for the Soviet Union and now enjoy the peaceful life of private landownership.
• Charyn Canyon National Park - Charyn Canyon is often referred to as the smaller sibling of the renowned Grand Canyon in the USA, stretching over 150km with depths reaching up to 300m in some areas. The tour will explore the most fascinating section known as “The Valley of Castles,” which is most impressive when viewed from the bottom along the tourist path.
  The walking portion of the tour spans 2.5km and includes a stop for a snack. Along the way, there will be discussions about the canyon’s history, legends, flora, and fauna. As the path descends towards the Charyn River, visitors will observe various historical layers that are millions of years old.
  The path concludes at the scenic Charyn River bank. The return journey to the parking area is an adventure in itself: a ride in a specially equipped Russian off-road open small truck, offering a breezy drive past the canyon’s natural stone towers and arches.
