A very different way of learning. - The staff were so helpful from the beginning. I had ended up with two different visits in Alice Springs too close together and Paddy moved our visit back an hour so we could do both easily. Then we turned up early! This didn't phase them and we joined another group and caught up with the film at the end. I loved seeing the children's work on the wall, including a lovely patchwork quilt. Paddy's talk was informative and funny. The film explained the history of the school of the air and how it operates. I was able to buy a book for the school library and write on a sticker which will go in the back. As a teacher for 43 years, it was good to be able to do that for another generation of learners. Such a lovely visit.

Informative - We were the only ones on the tour so it was an excellent experience. From hearing about the School of Air as a child I have wanted to visit. I was so pleased to actually see how it works.

Outback school - It was really interesting to see how the school makes every effort to educate students in the far Outback with a lot of creativity.

A must-do when in Alice Springs - Such an interesting tour, everyone who visits Alice Springs needs to go. Learned so much about its history, including how communication and resourcing has changed so much over time. And learned how important this service is to kids and their families. And how much fun they can have during their lessons and on their visits to the school throughout the year.

Reccomended attraction in Alice Springs - Very interesting and informative. Pity it was school holidays would have been fun to see some of the kids having lessons.

Really interesting - Although a relatively short and simple experience, it was still very interesting, especially as we are teachers. Great to see first hand how the operation works. The presenter was informative and open to questions. Worth a visit if you are interested in education.
