Wonderful trip to giza and sakara - Are tour guide was wonderful and very kind. She was very prompt and took us everywhere.We wanted to go. She was very understanding that we were a little slow because we are older and she did everything to make us comfortable.

Pyramid tour from Alexandrea’s port. - The tour is great with the itinerary. Ahmed is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful tour guide. The cost of the tour is very reasonable.

Great Guides of Giza - Our tour guide was very knowledgeable . Dr. Mohammed was very concise and didn’t overtalk . We had a child with us and he didn’t complain the whole day. He imparted the information so that everyone understood and gave us time to take pictures whenever we wanted. Our driver, Kareem, was a magician. He found a way to get us to Giza when practically every other tour was stuck in Alexandria due to an accident. He even found my phone when I lost it. Both gentlemen were courteous and kind.

Excellent tour - Ahmed is an experienced tour guide. Although we had stuck in traffic for more than an hour due to closing the highway. But we still got all the spots attractions experience. Nice arrangements and knowledgeable information about the history and rules. Excellent !!

Fabulous Guide - Nabil was a fabulous guide. He modified our tour based on some of our disabilities and was extremely knowledgeable and interesting. Highly recommended

Although the tour was a... - Although the tour was a small, private tour as described, we were picked up in Alexandria in a private car by a gentleman that spoke very little English to drive us to Cairo (2.5 hours) which was a little unsettling. Once we arrived in Cairo and met up with Omar Sherif, we were able to fully begin the tour. He gave lots of great information, took us to amazing places and was friendly and informative.

NC Group Sees the Pyramids - Our private group of 11 really enjoyed getting to see the Pyramids and the actual ride on a camel. We even went inside one of the "queen's" pyramids which was free which was very interesting. Our guide offered to take inside the larger pyramids at a cost, but we chose the free one and that is really all we needed. The pyramids has always been a bucket list item for us, and it did not disappoint. The Guide was very knowledgeable. We did have to sit on the highway on the way for over an 1.5 hours (completely stopped) because if was shut down by the government because of fog. No one can control the weather, so we did not get to see Saqqara. Our guide added a ride on the Nile River for an hour at the end of the day in its place which we really loved. The lunch that was included was very good and we enjoyed the restaurant. The Guide needs to be more aware of giving information to the group that I guess he assumes we should know. Example: We stopped for a bathroom break and we did not know where the bathroom was or that we needed money to us it. There were several other things he could have told use that we had to figure out on our own. He needed to be more in tune with us on the little things to make the tour smother and make us feel important. But his knowledge of the pyramids was spot on. Now buyer beware! This is why I gave it a 4. I read about this on other reviews and in some cases it caused the stops at the Pyramids be cut short. It is not in the explanation of the tour. We stopped at a papyrus store, an Oils store and a spice store. At each, they put us in a captive room to explain their processes, then began the hard sell of their products. Each stop lasted at least 45 minutes and we did not have an option to skip it. We were very disappointed in this "surprise". It is obvious there is some kind of quid quo pro going on here. It did not take away from the pyramids, but make sure if you do this tour, you INSIST on seeing the Pyramids FIRST.

Terrible experience - Do not use Bassam travel! Driver one hour late, had no permit within grounds. Guide not enthusiastic, terrible food, lost 2 plus hours of tour. Camel ride 10.min vs 30 Agreed to refund 25 percent because they were wrong then didn't. Terrible experience.

Unorganized chaos - Total lake of information and no pick up area info. Driver spoke no English. Totally unorganized. Would not recommend for even experienced travelers.
