Memorable pyramid sightseeing - Martina's guide took us to the Pyramids and Sphinx! They were very kind to me, taking lots of photos and taking care of my time allocation for sightseeing while worrying about our fatigue and requests each time!

Best Time with the Best Guide - We had the best time. Shreen was an amazing guide, without her we would have been lost! She was so knowledgeable about the pyramids, very personable and very comfortable to be around. By the end of the tour she was family! We seen everything we were promised and asked multiple times if there was anything else we needed or wanted to do. Couldn’t have asked for a better guide for 3 adults and 3 kids (6,8,10).

Five Stars - A Day To Remember In Egypt! - We had an absolutely incredible day exploring Egypt with Sam (Sameh) as our tour guide and Andrew as our driver. From start to finish, they made us feel safe, welcome, and completely taken care of.
Sam was knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and so easy to spend the day with. His love for Egypt and 30 years of experience really shone through. He gave us great tips, made sure we were comfortable every step of the way, and had the kind of warm energy that made it easy to ask questions and enjoy the moment.
Andrew was calm, kind, and a very skilled driver. He helped us feel at ease leaving our things in the car between stops and made the whole experience feel seamless. We never felt rushed or worried — just free to enjoy.
For the price the amount we got to do was awesome:
-Visit the pyramids in Giza
-See the Sphinx up close
-Ride a camel
-Learn about Egyptian hieroglyphs and get our names translated
-Visit a papyrus shop and learn how the paper is made
-Enjoy a delicious, local lunch
There were opportunities to buy jewelry and artwork with your name in hieroglyphs, which was fun — just remember to haggle and don’t feel bad saying no if it’s not for you. That goes for any aspect of the day!
My honest moment: I didn’t love the camel ride. I was excited to try it once, but I don’t think I’d do it again. The camels didn’t seem especially thrilled to be working tourists all day — just my personal impression, but I’m no animal expert. Still, I’m glad I did it once and had the chance.
Also, I left my jacket at the restaurant and didn’t even realize until after — Sam followed up with them and promised to bring it back to me. Above and beyond!
In summary: this was the best day we’ve had while traveling so far. Sam and Andrew were a huge part of why. They made us feel safe, supported, and confident enough to have fun and personalize our experience.
Communication is key, and if you’re open and respectful, you’ll have a great time — especially if you’re lucky enough to get Sam as your guide! The tourist offices in Cairo assured us we could have gotten the same thing “and more” for less money, but then we wouldn’t have gotten to meet these guys, which was totally worth it.
