Beautiful Alexandria - This is an interesting tour of Alexandria. We visited all the places listed on the tour itinerary and our Guide Eslam was very experienced and informative. He provided valuable information on the places visited. We had an excellent lunch on a nice restaurant overlooking the Mediterranean. Our driver Mustafa was very attentive also. Be ready for five hours on the road, but besides that it’s a nice tour.

Best Day Tour in Alexandria - Our experience was great from the beginning to end! We had a very kind and safe driver (Khalaf) and an amazing tour guide, Naelah. She was very informative, patient, kind, caring, gracious, and helpful from the moment we met her! She’s truly a wonder human. We walked away with a great one day trip in Alexandria! We will definitely come back and book with Naelah because she knows so much about the history and is an amazing human!

Informative day tour around Alexandria - Eslam was a wonderful, knowledgeable guide. He took us around the main tourist sites in Alexandria. I wish we had more time to visit this historical city, but the day tour provided us a good glimpse of life there. For lunch, he brought us to a salted fish restaurant as that is the specialty in Alexandria. Luckily Eslam was able to adjust to our dietary preferences and provide a vegetarian-friendly meal. If you do have dietary restrictions, I recommend you communicate that in advance just in case (unlike me). Thank you Eslam!

Fantastic tour of Alexandria - This trip went as good as can be. We had a great driver and great tour guide who spoke fantastic English. She was very knowledgeable and was able to answer any questions we had. My father is elderly and struggled to keep up at times but our guide encouraged him to keep going and motivated him to continue on. It was a great experience for both of us and we would highly recommend for anyone!

Great tour of Alexandria - We had the pleasure of having Rabab as our tour guide. She was incredibly knowledgeable, polite, and patient throughout the day. Rabab took us to some of the city's key landmarks, including the catacombs, the Roman amphitheatre, the famous library, and the citadel, sharing fascinating insights along the way. She also arranged lunch for us at one of the city’s nicest restaurants and ensured we had a table with the best view — such a thoughtful touch. Her English is excellent, and she answered all our questions with clarity and at just the right level. We would be more than happy to have Rabab as our guide again and highly recommend her to anyone visiting Alexandria. She made our visit both enjoyable and memorable. Our driver Yasser was also excellent. He was very friendly, spoke good English, and by the end of the day he felt like an old friend that we had just not seen for a long time!

Alexandria - Overall is good. The friendly driver, Mustafa, picked us up early in the morning, and we met our gentle tour guide, Eslam, in Alexandria. We have visited the majority of the places mentioned in the itinerary, except Pompey's Pillar (passed by outside only), which the ticket should be included in the package. even though we skipped one place, when we reached Cairo, it was already nighttime - 8pm.

A Decent Day Trip, But Fell Short of “Private Tour” Expectations - The highlights of this private day tour from Cairo to Alexandria were definitely the historical sites – the catacombs, the Citadel of Qaitbay, and the famous Alexandria Library were all worth seeing and made the long journey worthwhile. However, the overall experience didn’t quite live up to the expectations of a private tour. The guide had very limited information to share and was difficult to communicate with, which made it hard to really connect with the significance of the places we visited. Lunch was another letdown — the restaurant chosen had a surprisingly long wait despite being mostly empty, which cut into our touring time. Transportation-wise, the vehicle was a basic sedan that felt cramped for such a long ride, especially with limited air conditioning. I had to ask the driver for a charger for my phone, and there were a few unscheduled stops for gas and coffee along the way, which added unnecessary delays. Driving in Egypt is intense, so be prepared for aggressive traffic and constant horn honking. Honestly, I think I might have enjoyed this more as part of a group tour on a larger bus — more comfort, and perhaps a better guide. Not a bad trip overall, just underwhelming for the price and the promise of a "private" experience.
