Then we will move to The Bibliotheca of Alexandria. It was founded at the beginning of the 3rd century BC. C. by Ptolomeno I and extended by his son Ptlomeo II, but in later times its importance was diminishing and its collections were lost, due to the changes in power and successive invasions.

Ciuri Ciuri Group - We chose this agency to do a day trip to Alexandria, Egypt, we were a group of cruisers and I must say we were really good.
The guide was fantastic, spoke very well the Italian language and even a little Sicilian dialect. In the group we were present some Sicilians and then he called us "Gruppo Ciuri Ciuri" singing us also a piece of song. Really too nice and super helpful. He accompanied us throughout the day, together with another guy, always with a smile and kindness.

Tour of Alexandria Unforgettable: Professionalism, History and Fun - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We chose Cairo top tour for the Alexandria day trip and were absolutely thrilled.
From the moment of booking, Antonella's assistance was clear and professional. The organization on site was impeccable: the pickup was on time and the vehicle was comfortable and clean.
Our guide, he was the real star. Not only was she extremely cultured and spoke excellent Italian, but she also instilled passion in every explanation, from Pompey’s Column to the Library. His advice and anecdotes made us feel completely immersed in the history of this fascinating city.
If you are looking for a safe, well-planned and deeply enriching experience to explore Alexandria, be in no doubt: book with them! I highly recommend them and hope to travel with them again in the future.

Unforgettable tour! 🤩 - From minute 1 it was all fantastically arranged! Great guide Mortas was waiting for us, we had a Fine comfortable bus with water bottles and air conditioning. Then we left for Cairo, where we got lunch at a rooftop bar with a view over the whole city. Then we drove on for a visit to the pyramids and sphinx. At the pyramids have also ridden camels. Then it was time for the quad tour through the desert. Very nice cool special experience with the pyramids in the background and the setting sun. Then we were dropped off at a fantastically beautiful hotel where we stayed overnight. The next morning we enjoyed a top breakfast and then we were picked up again and we visited 2 more churches and a mosque. The guide Ibrahim gave clear info and it was not too long-winded. As a surprise we also visited the lotus garden with oil and perfumes. Finally we went for lunch and then the bus took us back to the Port of Alexandria. All in all had 2 great days, learned and seen a lot and would definitely recommend this trip! I also had 2 kids of 10 and 13 with me who also loved it.

Beautiful tour in Egypt! - We had a beautiful trip with our family of 19! I enjoyed the tours with my kids and family. Thanks to Moataz, Ibrahim and Mika for all the time, stories and helping and guiding us. We had a perfect hotel and 2 nice days!

Super Egypt tour! - We had a super tour with guide Moataz, Ibrahim and Mika. Seen the pyramids, camel riding, atv tour in Sahara, churches and mosques. We slept at a perfect hotel with super good breakfast, and many more nice things.
The guides were super nice and helped us good. I will recomment it to everyone for young and older people.

It was a mesmerizing experience - I recently gratified the honor of having a memorable tour in Alexandria, Egypt, with the Cairo Top Tours and I cannot recommend them highly, as they were very splendid. The kindness of Ahmed Shaoki and Moataz Mohammad was outstanding since the day I made a reservation. They did extra effort to make my journey as comfortable and unforgettable as possible.
This tour was specially organized with a comfortable sedan car that has air conditioning which made it easy to visit attractions of the city that are very famous. They showed me some of the most distinctive sites such as Bibliotheca Alexandrina, Citadel of Qaitbay and the magnificent Alexandria Corniche whilst revealing the most intriguing speeches concerning the history of every place.
The tour leader Moataz and driver Ahmed were always concern about my safty and sequirity. They were experienced and, at the same time, extremely friendly and helpful. This beautiful Mediterranean view, coupled with the fact that I was able to taste fresh seafood can only be referred to as the best part of the day, as we had a wonderful lunch at the Fish Market.
The entire process was smooth and I did feel adventurous . The fact that everything was taken into account, and that travel was comfortable contributed to the fact that it has become one of the best tours of my life. When visiting Alexandria, the company I suggest everyone to take the hospitality of CAIRO TOP Tours.

Alexandria should be included in any Egypt tour - Such a different day tour. Almost finishing our trip to the traditional Egypt, Alexandria is a different approach to this country. One more time, Yomna Katthab has been our great guide. Her knowledge, fluent Spanish and herself has made our visit to this Mediterranean city a marvelous experience
