It was great to see Faro,... - It was great to see Faro, Olhão and Tavira. We had about an hour free time in each city plus an extra hour for lunch (in our case in Olhão). Our guide, André, spoke excellent English and picked us up on time.

Full day in the Eastern Algarve - Mario was one of the best guides we had, on our recent trip to Portugal. He was extremely knowledgeable and very informative about the history of the Algarve and general facts. He gave us time to shop, explore, and get a good sense of the eastern region. He even joined us in the market and helped us barter for various foods. He gave tips on restaurants and where to go. It was a fun filled experience, and one that we won’t forget.

A great day - A great way to travel to several different eastern Algarve cities and be given the opportunity to explore each. It was a great day. I highly recommend it.

Our Eastern Algarve tour. - We were picked up at our hotel, travelled to Old Faro, salt flats, Olhao fishing port,, Trevira and finally Visa Nova de Cacela all along the Estuary. Lovely Full Day Tour of Eastern Algarve - We really enjoyed this tour especially because of our tour guide Andre! Andre was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the Eastern Algarve. He was friendly, patient and also a safe driver. We felt very comfortable throughout and he made the tour very engaging. We visited Faro, Olhao, Tavira and Cacela Velha. Each location had its unique charm. I highly recommend this tour.

Experience nature and culture - There was an intense impression about life in Portugal in the Algarve. The driver was very friendly and attentive.

Excellent Tour Guide and Tour - Our driver tour guide I think his name was Andrew might have got the name wrong - tour date 15/10 very professional and knowledgeable. He was patient despite the harsh weather condition he maybe it still enjoyable and safe

Great tour - The tour is good and very well organised, the van is comfortable. We liked all the stops and are very happy with the tour.

I did the Historic Tour, which was very good - I had booked the Eastern Algarve Finest tour, however the day before I received a phone call to explain that due to low numbers, the trip was not going to run and could I go a day later. This wasn't suitable for me, so I was offered the Historic Tour instead. Paolo, my driver/guide picked me up promptly from my hotel. He is friendly, knowledgeable and kind. We went to collect the other guests, in total there were 5 people on the trip, so we received personal attention from Paolo who was keen to ensure that we all enjoyed the day. I certainly did! It is a lot of driving, however this means you get to see a lot of the countryside away from the hotels and restaurants along the coast. Portugal is beautiful. We visited the towns of Silves and Lagos, with time to have a wander round and also the highest point in the Algarve and the furthest west corner It was cloudy at the highest point on the day of our trip, so unfortunately we couldn't see the view from the top, however we did get to see it on the way down I'd definitely recommend this trip to anyone who wants to see a bit of what Portugal is like away from the hotels and beaches of the coast
