The tour also includes a stopover at the stunning Benagil…
Your expedition of Caves and Dolphin Spotting commences from the freshly inaugurated marina of Albufeira. You’ll embark ‘Insonia’, the boat that will steer you along the Algarve seashore till Carvoeiro Beach, while you take in the natural marvels of imposing rock configurations along the route. The tour also includes a stopover at the stunning Benagil sea cave.
- Dolphin sightings cannot be guaranteed
- The stop for swim will depend on the sea conditions
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- If Local Marine Police order to not visit the caves due to sea conditions, the caves will be viewed from a safe distance.
- The stop for a swim will happen depending on the sea conditions. It will not be near or inside any cave or beach.
- There will be no disembark inside Benagil Cave
- Although we do our best to provide a french guide on all our boats, this may not always be possible.
- We offer an APP with audio and text guides of the tour, available in Portuguese, English, Spanish, French, German and Italian

Great time - Luna, Bruno and Pedro were amazing, so well prepared. The trip was around 2 and a half hours and we were so lucky that we found the dolphins.they even stop for a small swim in the ocean

Not to be missed - The EN boat ride to the dolphins was great, thanks to our Captain Rúben.
The cave is extraordinary and Ana provided us with top explanations and always with a smile

Dolphins and caves. Does exactly as advertised - Really enjoyable trip. Inês and Vasco were great. Good explanations and great speed in the boat when in open water. Got to see dolphins which is always a bonus.

Sunday morning Dolphins 🐬 👌 - We took the trip with Chris, Sergio and Jesus yesterday morning. Very enjoyable, the 3 guys were so nice and friendly. Got to see the dolphins and then a trip to the caves . Guys are very knowledgeable, they know what they are talking about . Really nice family activity 👌🤙

Unforgettable Algarve Adventure! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Our boat trip with Dream Wave Algarve - Albufeira was amazing – stunning caves, shy dolphins and even a refreshing swim in the ocean. Guides Ana and Diogo were fantastic: knowledgeable, friendly, and full of good energy. A perfect mix of excitement and relaxation on the water!

Lovely experience - Such a lovely experience. Our tour crew was Maria, David and Filipe and they were amazing. So kind and helpful! We had booked with a different company who cancelled last minute and we were gutted, especially with it being our second to last day. We walked around the marina to DreamWave and they fit us in later on the same day on a bigger, better boat so may of been a blessing in disguise. Would definitely recommend booking with them if visiting Algarve!

Amazing trip - Went on the insomnia boat was amazing we saw a group of dolphins about 6 of them very playful in their natural environment it was amazing but not guaranteed!!! We did this trip last year and didn’t see any kids were a bit disappointed but understood. Staff are amazing with plenty of knowledge and took time to explain to everyone in a variety of languages a big shout to Matilde she was brilliant on our trip and her knowledge of languages and abilities to change and crack jokes with all was credit to her. I would highly recommend the tour the insomnia is a smaller boat and goes fast which was a lot of fun and goes into the caves for breathtaking views.

Dolphin and cave excursion benagil - Superb 2.30 hours.
We were lucky DE see the dolphins.
The more magnificent the benagil cave.
EN end of the excursion we were even treated to a little slap.
We highly recommend.
Thanks to Felipe, Felipe and Mathilde the little French.

Nice Ride - it was a fun ride and the knowledge of the guide was satisfactory. It would have been better, if they knew a bit more history/ location about the beaches/ beachy areas that they were showing us while on the boat.

Disappointing experience! - Booked the 2-2.5hr trip on one of the smaller boats, Insonia. A few things about this trip were below our expectations.
1. The trip was not even 2hrs long!
2. We only got to look at the Benagil cave from the outside, while the rep said we would be able to go inside and get a good photo.
3. We managed to see some dolphins at a middle distance, yet our host said we didn't have time to stay and get closer and we hurried on to the next part of the journey.
4. We stopped for a dip in the sea, yet again, we were hurried and told to jump in quickly and then get out straight away.
The whole trip was not enjoyable, as we felt rushed at every part and it felt the company were just hurrying to get more boat trips in the day. Definitely not value for money.
