Explore the 18th century in Albi with Madame de Lapérouse, the wife of the renowned Albigensian navigator.

Madame de Lapérouse has found life in Albi quite dull since her husband embarked on his Pacific exploration. She will gladly accompany you on a walk to introduce you to her city. As you wander through the streets, she will share stories of her encounter with her husband, the dashing navigator Jean-François de Galaup, known as Lapérouse, while also giving insights into life in Albi during the reign of Louis XVI, including the gossip among the city’s prominent families.

Your journey will take you to the gardens of Berbie, past the street where she resides, and to the Place du Vigan. To ensure a fully immersive experience, the tour will be conducted in period costume.
