Visitors can drive on the track, pause at the pits and starting line for photos, and enjoy the Melbourne skyline framed by palm trees. Even those who aren’t Formula 1 enthusiasts will admire the scenery and the birdlife that inhabits the area.
- Luna Park Melbourne - St Kilda’s iconic Luna Park is a historic amusement park, drawing inspiration from Coney Island in Brooklyn, New York. As you pass by, you might hear the screams and cheers from riders on the Scenic Railway, which opened in December 1912 and is the oldest continuously operating roller coaster in the world. If you notice someone standing between the carriages, don’t be alarmed! The Scenic Railway is one of only three roller coasters worldwide with a brakeman standing in the middle of the train. A stop at Luna Park for a photoshoot is available if desired.
- Brighton Beach - The journey follows the stunning and scenic Beach Road, showcasing multimillion-dollar designer homes on one side and breathtaking views of Port Phillip Bay and its numerous beaches on the other.
- Dendy Street Beach - A 30-minute stopover at the renowned Dendy Street Beach is planned. This beach is famous for its colorful wooden beach huts and is the most photographed beach in Victoria. The stopover allows for a personal photoshoot, capturing not only the vibrant huts but also the city views in the distance and other spectacular sights across the bay. Free public restrooms are available at this beach.
- Arthurs Seat - Arthurs Seat is perched atop a small mountain, offering several viewing spots and lookouts. On clear days, the Melbourne skyline is visible in the distance.
- Chapmans Point - This excellent lookout provides a perfect spot for memorable photos and offers a view of where the ocean meets the bay.
- Mt Martha - The return journey to Melbourne takes us along the Esplanade through and around Mt Martha, located about 60–70 km southeast of Melbourne. Here, bushland meets the bay, offering a tranquil lifestyle and a strong community spirit. The Esplanade resembles a “mini” Great Ocean Road, with its curves, postcard-worthy scenery, and natural surroundings.
- Olivers Hill Lookout - Our final scenic stop, Oliver’s Hill Lookout, presents panoramic views across Port Phillip Bay with a clearer view of Melbourne’s skyline in the distance. This location has inspired some local artists.
