Pleased we visited - This was a really good museum, well worth a visit but if a bit claustrophobic maybe not for you. Also part of the experience included flashing lights and loud noises to simulate war conditions

Recommended if you are visiting the battlefields area - Definitely worth visiting to learn more about the WW1 battles. We were doing a tour of the battlefields and memorials and found this a good introduction. There were English translations. The only issue we had was the section at the end with flashing lights and gunfire sounds. Epilepsy trigger for my family member. There is a warning but to avoid it you need to retrace completely and go back out the entrance. There should be a way to turn this off so people can go out through the exit. There are staff just on the other side so they could have a way to do this.

Interesting - Interesting lots of things to see. Lots of reading but some interactive actions, the shop at the end. On the other hand the exit through the gardens do not overlook the museum entrance. Garden to visit it is beautiful

Great WW1 museum to tell story on battle and see artifacts - We had an interesting time at the museum. It does a good job of putting the battle of Somme in context of WW1, telling the story of the battle and show a lot of artifacts from both sides. Being avid players of WW1 Battlefront it was interesting to see lots of the weapons. Still the exhibition did also tell about all the terror of the war and the many casualties.
