Great hike and great guide - This was an excellent time and very informative. Don was our guide and he seemed to really love the area and was knowledgeable about everything we wanted to see. September was the perfect time for us but he made us want to come back another time as well.

Great! - Jade was amazing, funny, and knowledgeable.

Beautiful walk. - Don knew alot about nature and since we were biologists it was just up our alley. If you are not into details about plants and nature it may not be for you, but it an easy walk and absolutely beautiful including some wonderful bridges that you cross which are perfect for photos.

Great walk - Abby was so knowledgeable and helpful. She shared so many great insights about our walk. Beautiful fall colors were the icing on the cake.

Nature Hike - Jade took us on a great nature hike pointing out natural herbs all around us. He is very engaging and knowledgeable about the flora and fauna in Denali. He's energetic and kept us moving at the perfect pace.

FANTASTIC hiking adventure in Denali - Jade was fantastic!!! It was only Jade, my friend, and I. Jade customized the tour based on our love of hiking. He took us on a trail and taught us about the edible berries and plants. He answered a TON of our questions about hiking, wildlife, and so much more. On our way back, he took us 'off trail' through a moss field. We explained that 'off trail' is a bad thing where we live. Jade explained that there are much fewer visitors and a small window of time to visit Denali. 'Off trail' with a trained guide is fine, as they understand the environment and can teach us so much more. I HIGHLY recommend this company!!!

An Incredible Denali Nature Walk Made Exceptional by an Amazing Guide - Jade - Jade was absolutely fantastic and easily one of the best guides I’ve had in many years of traveling and adventures. From the very beginning, he was incredibly friendly, personable, and engaging, but what really stood out was the depth of his knowledge and his genuine passion for nature. The way he explained the landscape, plants, wildlife, and ecosystem made you feel like you were walking through Denali with someone who had an academic background as a naturalist. I was genuinely surprised to learn that so much of his expertise comes instead from a lifetime of experience, curiosity, passion for nature, and dedication to learning his craft. That honestly made it even more impressive. Jade, was our naturalist guid., and he was exceptional! Jade has that rare ability to be incredibly knowledgeable without ever making the experience feel like a lecture. He made the walk interesting, conversational, and fun, and his enthusiasm was infectious. You could visibly tell that this isn’t simply a job for him — he truly loves what he does and loves sharing it with others. Absolutely loved the experience. After many years of adventures and meeting guides in different parts of the world, Jade genuinely stands out as one of the best I’ve ever had. If you’re doing the Denali Park Nature Walk, I couldn’t recommend him more highly!

Wonderful Denali walking tour guide - Exceptional Naturalist, Exceptional Denali Experience After 43 years of marriage and countless adventures together, my wife and I have enjoyed many memorable tours—but our Denali nature walk with Northern Epics Hiking Tours & Jade as our guide unquestionably ranks among the very best. What transformed what could have been a pleasant walk through a beautiful landscape into something extraordinary was Jade’s depth of knowledge. He didn’t simply point out what we were seeing; he helped us understand the living ecosystem around us. His knowledge of Denali was exceptional, but his expertise in botany was particularly impressive. Plants that we might otherwise have walked past became fascinating pieces of a much larger ecological story. Jade explained their characteristics, relationships and place within the Denali environment with an enthusiasm that was contagious. Great experience. - Jade lead our group on the three hour guided hide. He spoke to the group at an appropriate level for our group. He mixed in humor and his own personal experiences which added to the walk.
