• Dim River - Next, discover local traditions and witness a butternut squash being crafted into a lantern at the Culture House. Then, enjoy a picnic lunch by the banks of the River Dim. • Dim Cave - Post-lunch, delve into the depths of Dim Cave, where you’ll encounter stunning stalactites and stalagmites. Conclude the tour with a boat ride along the coast to gain a fresh view of Alanya’s clifftop castle. The rocky outcrop hosting the castle is encircled by water on three sides, with its crenelated walls appearing to emerge from the rock itself.

It’s not just pristine beaches and azure waters that make Alanya so special. The city is packed with historic monuments and natural attractions. You’ll tour Alanya Castle by foot and boat, delve into the depths of Dim Cave and have lunch on the banks of the river Dim.

We start off with a journey back in time at Alanya Castle. Dating from the 13th century, it boasts mighty defensive walls, panoramic vistas over land and sea, as well as a stunning clifftop location. We’ll then find out more about local customs and watch a pumpkin being turned into a lantern at the Culture House, before heading to the banks of the River Dim for a picnic lunch.

You’ll journey deep into Dim Cave where you’ll be surrounded by historic stalactites and stalagmites, after which we’ll return to the centre of Alanya. We’ll end the tour on a high note with a boat trip along the shore to see impressive views of the castle from a new perspective.
