The tour guide was... - The tour guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. An enjoyable outing, picked me up and dropped me off right at my hotel. I feel like this was a good way to see a number of different activities outside of San José.

Best Las Paz Poas guide and tour - The guide was excellent. She knew in detail all about La Pas Poas volcano national park. The operator and guide was very nice and was never trying to hurry but kept the schedule to make sure we saw all. I would recommend others to use this tour thru Assisttours. We saw a family owned coffee plantation and hence was better than the big companies visits. We were also taken to strawberry shp family owned and coukd taste and buy strawberry wine. Before being picked up we were given approximate time of pick up with live Whatsapp Gps location of van before reaching us for pick up.

Wonderful day in Costa rica - Fantastic and efficient way to see a few attractions in one day. Rachel and Kiki were both fantastic and provided us with great information and a safe experience. The highlight of the trip for me was the wildlife at the La Paz waterfalls. Sloths, butterflies, toucans amongst many.

Do it! - Lovely experience and wonderful people - we met many very kind people on this beautiful day! The tour guide was super informative and really seemed to care about the information she was sharing with us, and the animals we saw as well. We didn't get to see POAS due to the clouds but honestly it didn't take away anything from our tour. I definitely recommend you book with this company!

Chill Day Tour - This tour involves a short walk in a coffee plantation, a short hike at Poas Volcano and a thorough visit of Waterfall Gardens. In the coffee plantation we were explained how coffee was grown and harvested. Then at Poas Volcano, we first walked 15 minutes to see the crater, and then another 15 minutes to see the Lagoon. It was beautiful. At Waterfall Gardens, we were introduced the rescued animals. We saw toucans, monkeys, sloths, butterflies, snakes, macaws and some other animals. After this we had a buffet lunch at the cafeteria. There weren't a lot of options but it's tasty. I was happy about it. In the end we took a walk to see waterfalls (still within the waterfall gardens), taking about 45 mins max too see all 5 waterfalls. There were 12 people in our group. Altogether the experience was nice and smooth. Our guide Rachel and driver Olman were friendly and professional. However I did feel a bit disappointed about the hiking at Poas Volcano as that's the main reason I booked this tour. I saw people online saying the routes are complicated and that it's better to hire a guide, but with this tour we were only allowed for a really short walk there, which can be easily done without a guide, as long as you sort out the transportation to the park. Same with the waterfall gardens. You can easily book a ticket and visit on your own. Didn't have any bad experience in particular, but looking back I find the tour a bit over priced.
