Day 1: Osh – Sary-Mogol – Tulpar-Kol
Lake Tulpar-Kol – The journey is filled with breathtaking stops to capture the beauty of the Alay region! Departing from Osh at 08:00, the day begins with an 80 km drive to Gulcho town, where travelers visit the fascinating Kurmanjan Datka Museum and immerse themselves in the rich history of the Alay during an hour-long exploration.
As the journey unfolds, the route follows the legendary M41 road, pausing at picturesque viewpoints to photograph the striking, colorful rock formations of the Alay Mountains, including the Chyiyrchyk and Taldyk passes. The day concludes in Tulpar-Kol, with a stop at the Alay Travel House for lunch before driving one more hour to enjoy leisurely hikes around the lake. Upon arrival, a short hike around Tulpar-Kol awaits.
Lake Tulpar-Kol – Nestled in the shadow of the majestic Pamir-Alay Mountains, Tulpar-Kol Lake is a serene alpine gem in southern Kyrgyzstan. Located near the base of Lenin Peak, the lake offers stunning reflections of snow-capped peaks on its calm waters, making it a haven for trekkers, nature enthusiasts, and adventurers seeking pristine landscapes. Tulpar-Kol serves as a perfect base for exploring nearby trails, horseback riding, or simply soaking in the unspoiled beauty of Kyrgyzstan’s highlands.

From Tulpar-Kol to Osh
Osh – A four-hour drive along the same road back to Osh is included in the program. Beyond the itinerary, there are many options for the next trip. For those planning to continue the journey, the following paid tours can be organized:
- Continue to Tajikistan via the Pamir Highway – Transportation can be arranged to the Kyzyl-Art Border or directly to Dushanbe along the Pamir Highway.
- Transfer to Erkeshtam Border (China) – For those heading to China, a transfer to the Erkeshtam Border can be provided.
