- Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - Khufu’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, now beneath the village of Nazlet el-Samman. Although the site remains unexcavated, diabase paving and nummulitic limestone walls have been discovered. The valley temple was linked to a causeway, mostly destroyed during the village’s construction.
- Khafre’s Pyramid - Khafre’s pyramid complex features a valley temple, the Sphinx temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple revealed several statues of Khafre, discovered in a well by Mariette in 1860 and during later excavations by Sieglin (1909–10), Junker, and Reisner.
- Menkaure Pyramid - Menkaure’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple once housed several statues of Menkaure. During the 5th Dynasty, a smaller ante-temple was added to the valley temple. The mortuary temple also contained several statues of Menkaure.
- Great Sphinx - The Sphinx, a legendary guardian with a lion’s body and King Chephren’s head, stands by the vast funeral complex.
- Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids - Visit Sakkara, located 27 km southwest of Cairo. Explore the Step Pyramid, built for King Zoser, which marks a significant step in the evolution of pyramid construction from simple mastabas to its well-known form.
- Bent Pyramid - The Dahshur Pyramids, including the Bent and Red Pyramids, are located in a royal necropolis on the West Bank of the Nile, about 40 kilometers (25 miles) south of Cairo. These pyramids are among the oldest, largest, and best-preserved in Egypt, constructed between 2613–2589 BCE.
- Memphis and Sakkara - Discover Memphis City, the ancient capital of Egypt, home to the colossal statue of Ramses II and the great Alabaster Sphinx. This city dates back to 3100 B.C.
- Pyramid of Unas - The Pyramid of Unas, built in the 24th century BC for Pharaoh Unas, is the smallest Old Kingdom pyramid but is significant for the Pyramid Texts found within. These spells for the king’s afterlife were first inscribed in Unas’s pyramid and continued in subsequent pyramids, influencing the Coffin Texts and the Book of the Dead.
- Pyramid of Teti - Located in Saqqara, the Pyramid of Teti serves as the final resting place for Pharaoh Teti. This ancient structure showcases the architectural brilliance of the Old Kingdom and draws visitors worldwide to explore its chambers and corridors, revealing the mysteries of ancient Egypt.
- Mastaba of Ti - The Mastaba of Ti is a key archaeological site in Saqqara, discovered by Auguste Mariette. It contains two serdabs, and its tomb walls depict various scenes of daily life.
- Khan Al-Khalili - Khan El Khalili Bazaar is renowned for its numerous shops trading in fine brassware, copper, perfumes, leather, silver, gold, antiques, and more.
After the tour concludes, guests will be transferred back to Cairo International Airport for their final departure.
