Blown away by this! - What an amazing Day! From beginning to end my driver Waqar Ali was amazing, very funny and made sure to guide us along each step of this unforgettable experience! Royal Adventure was recommended to me and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in this desert safari. First they will contact you ahead of time to confirm that everything is good to go (Advice; if they can't reach you make sure to have WhatsApp for messaging with them, it will help you out a lot and doesn't cost you a thing). The day of the safari they'll come pick you up around 14h30 at your hotel and take you about an hour away from Dubai. Once in the desert you will have 30 minutes to ride a quad in their compound in the desert (included in the experience)...... However if you're an adrenaline junky like me you'll want to skip that and upgrade to a Polaris 1000CC buggy. Doing so also take you out of the compound and in the real dunes where you will be doing your own guided dune bashing, totally worth it and it has so much more power than a quad, you'll absolutely love it not regret the decision. The upgrade costs about 800AED but this is also UAE so you negotiate everything and bring that price down, I paid 500 and don't regret it one bit. Afterwards, is the Dune bashing done in a convoy by the professional drivers. Again, Mr Ali was very fun and very good and it was a very fun "bumpy ride". Once the dune bashing is complete there will be a 20 minutes photo opportunity in the middle of the desert. What's nice about Royal Adventure is that they take you out where there's red sand dunes and not the normal yellowish ones, makes for a very "Mars" type of feel and the photos you will be taking there are amazing. Lastly, once you arrive at the compound you can enjoy a desert sunset over the sand dunes and the very quick hop-on hop-off camel ride (it's NOT an actual camel journey, you get on it to feel what it is like and do a 2 minutes tour on it. If you want real camel ridding that's another type of experience so don't be upset if you find it short or that's the only reason you're booking this as you will be disappointed). Then the feast buffet and the entertainment begins, the whole show is very fun and very entertaining, you'll have multiple entertainers do different types of shows and around 8pm you start heading back to your hotel. Overall it was an amazing experience and I'd like to thank Mr Ali again for the amazing day, I will definitely refer this activity to everyone I know!
