This tour begins with a journey through the Hajar Mountains to Nizwa, the historic capital of Oman. In Nizwa, participants will explore Nizwa Fort and the Traditional Souk. The tour then proceeds through the dramatic Wadi Ghul, leading to Jebel Shams, known as the “Mountain of the Sun,” the majestic peak of the Jebel Al Akhdar range, standing 3,000 meters above sea level. This area offers stunning views, ancient rock carvings, and secluded villages.

Known as the Grand Canyon of Oman, there will be ample opportunity to take in the breathtaking landscapes before heading to the charming old village of Misfah. Misfah is nestled on a mountainside, with narrow, ancient stone pathways descending into the valley. Lunch will be enjoyed at a restaurant, offering local delicacies atop the mountain. Following this, participants will explore the ancient maze of Al Hamra before returning to Muscat.
