• Alexandria - Begin your tour with a pickup from Alexandria by a tour guide.
• Pyramids of Giza - At 6:00 am, an expert licensed tour guide will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to Cairo, approximately 220 km away. Upon arrival, embark on a full-day tour visiting the Great Pyramids - Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos, followed by a visit to the Valley Temple where King Chephren’s body was mummified by priests.
• Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - The only fully preserved portrait of the king is a three-inch high ivory figurine discovered in a temple ruin at Abydos in 1903. Other reliefs and statues were found in fragments, and many of Khufu’s buildings are lost. Information about Khufu is derived from inscriptions in his necropolis at Giza and later documents, such as the Westcar Papyrus from the 13th dynasty.
• Khafre’s Pyramid - Khafre’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, the Sphinx temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple revealed several statues of Khafre, discovered in a well in the temple floor by Mariette in 1860, with further finds during excavations by Sieglin (1909–10), Junker, and Reisner.
• Menkaure Pyramid - Menkaure’s pyramid complex features a valley temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple originally housed several statues of Menkaure. During the 5th Dynasty, a smaller ante-temple was added to the valley temple. The mortuary temple also contained several statues of Menkaure.
• Great Sphinx - Enjoy a close-up view of The Sphinx, the legendary guardian with a lion’s body and the head of King Chephren, standing by the vast funeral complex.
• Memphis and Sakkara - Continue your tour to Memphis City, the ancient capital of Egypt, home to the colossal statue of Ramses II and the great Alabaster Sphinx. This city dates back to 3100 B.C.
• Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids - Proceed to Sakkara, located just 27 km southwest of Cairo. Visit the Step Pyramid, built for King Zoser, which is a significant part of the pyramid evolution process, transitioning from the simple mastaba to its well-known form.
• Alexandria - Conclude your tour with a drop-off at the customer’s hotel.

Upon your cruise ship’s arrival at Alexandria port, meet your guide and step into your private, air-conditioned minivan. Enjoy the scenic drive south through the Nile Valley to Cairo, Egypt’s vibrant capital. Along the way, listen to fascinating stories about Cairo’s history and the Giza Pyramids.

After approximately three hours, reach the Giza Plateau and be amazed by the exteriors of the UNESCO-listed main pyramids: Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus. Your guide will share intriguing insights into these ancient tombs and explain their construction and purpose.

Next, descend to the base of the Great Sphinx and discover more about this enigmatic human-headed lion statue. Take memorable photos and explore the nearby Valley Temple, thought to be part of the funerary and mummification complex for the pyramid of Chephren.
